Boiling mad at EA Support!

After group saving everything in KL, I nuked it and I lost the Tooth Chipper roller coaster.

Contacted EA, who needed me to input all the info twice or three times for some reason. Item returned within 2 hours, email advised me.

All good so far.

I went back in and the Tooth Chipper had indeed been returned.

But they deleted the Cartoon Set, the Itchy Minefield and the Nickel n’ Dime Animation, all 550 donuts of it I bought yesterday afternoon, plus one Injury 500 Short Track Piece! And moved a load of pieces I’d put in the new land.

Why? What a bunch of morons! Ticket sent, but this is ridiculous. I shouldn’t need to do this!

    Sounds like they just simply rolled back your game instead of adding the items back properly. They are well known for their laziness!

    Yeh, my thoughts too. I wouldn’t mind all that much if they’d given me my 550 donuts back and I’d just repurchase. I’m biting my tongue as to what I really want to say!

    I was hit by "the glitch" at the start of an event the day after I paid 500 donuts for new stuff. I got a rollback and the stuff was gone. I clearly explained to the rep that I had purchased the items, told them what they were, and asked for them to be restored or the donuts returned so I could re purchase. I was given the donuts after a long, polite but firm discussion. Its worth a try.

    My problem is I can’t even speak to a EA rep as that option to speak to a human is only available in the US and Canada. Not even live chat. All email.

    Spoke to a nice man at EA - finally - thanks Brooders. Apparently it’s a known issue (of course it is, I just told you about itj and first EA support man took a flyer and rolled it back. It’s going to take 1-2 to fix, but at least it will get fixed. Meanwhile, limited functionality. :(

    Keep trying until you get someone to listen.

    Try to be polite (yes hard to do under the circumstances) state the loss and case number.

    Don't stop till you get a result >:)

    With the May 8 update I received “THE GLITCH “ I spoke with someone at EA for 35 minutes on the phone said the rollback may take a few minutes I need to log out and log on after that it still did nothing to fix it he said he has my back and he’s going to work on it and we hung up couple days later I sent an email saying the problem has not been resolved In it stating all the other problems that I’m having they sent an email back saying to set up a new callback haven’t had time to sit on the phone so I tried to deal with it today Within the first minute he is telling me there is nothing that he can do and I’m not able to speak to anybody else about it and he’s forwarding it to the programmers say that is all I can do thank you for calling and hangs up on me after five minutes total I don’t spend a lot of money on the game but I’ve invested over four years play and have bought doughnuts from time to time any suggestions on how to me resolve this

    I was almost finishing my rollercoaster and now is gone! I hate this event with all my heart

    They also lost my Krustyland entrance but I don’t trust thEAm to fix that after they screwed up so bad earlier today.

  • In the past I have had a fairly good outcome (lots of emails) from the EA advisers. This time with the big **** up on the Moes Zoo quest, I am banging my head against the wall. 1st issue Gils donut offer (finally resolved) 2nd issue no access to game ( finally resolved after rollback from EA studio) Finally 3rd issue items purchased with donuts total 410 disappeared due to rollback. An EA adviser (Nitin) told me that he will not refund the 410 donuts as it would be unfair to other players who have earned donuts in game play. The donuts I used were purchased by REAL money not game earned donuts, the guy seemed incapable of understanding the difference. I realise that items I had won in game play would be lost in a rollback, not items I had purchased with real money donuts. (Nitin) said the studio could not refund the lost donuts, the items in question I had to buy again due to offer end time. In the past the studio has given me donuts due to other problems. (Nitin) also kept replying with the same standard response, which ended up in a loop. Chat not available, callback not available I live in France. EA should train some of the advisers to be more human! Its like dealing with an automated machine.
