I'd like to be able to gift my son a premium item (since he's too young to have his own donuts to waste), but that functionality would probably lead to collusive donut purchases.
I like the idea. But I think the items should only be able to be gifted to promote adding active friends.
For instance there could be 5 or so items you can only get if someone spends their own in game cash to give you
I voted no, but I am a fan of this idea although I'm sure this would only encourage helping friends for a couple days until everyone had everything, kinf of like how visiting friends always dwindles once people start finishing their "major update" (i.e. Christmas, Valentines Day or Whacking Day) tasks and then when I check before a new update half my friends haven't logged on in over a week.
Seems like a silly idea really.....what could be gifted? Hedges...parking lots? Whatever it would be it would be exploited to the max .........
....didn't vote as I would bet a boatload of doughnuts that it will never happen regardless of what players want......
(Still a boatload virgin BTW )

very true, happened is whacking day event
i would create a bunch of dummy Springfields just to buy premium items with donuts and then gift those items to my springfield
