XP % went up out of nowhere???

So my husband (mizark007650) suddenly noticed his XP % had shot up to over 570%, so he asked me to check mine. I was at 380-something, now I'm at 544.7??? Whaaaat? Has anyone else noticed theirs go up? And do you have any clue what items were given the bonus in case we have more in our inv? Thanks!!

The previously hidden SH bonus is no longer hidden.

It's being talked about in the update threads. The change is due to the fact that the formerly hidden Springfield Heights XP bonus is no longer hidden.

It shoots up when the hidden bonus for Springfield Heights buildings is unhidden. Do you have heights buildings out? Have you downloaded the update?

Woohoo! 153% more money! Out of curiosity (and perhaps skepticism) I tested it and it is indeed working properly.

The SH buildings were previously XP only, now that it shows up in the multiplier display, does that mean the 135% will also apply to cash too?

If we store our SH buildings will the XP stay on the multiplier? It would be nice to free up all that extra space.

Worked it out.

My sudden jump was due to having the beach hideaways out on display. The bonus was previously hidden with them alongside all the heights buildings. I still have all my ugly heights buildings in storage but have noticed that they all now display the bonus. Also some of them have reverted back to level 1 and others have duplicated. Hey ho... still not getting them out bleurgh.

Beach hideaways were never a hidden bonus. The 100% for all 5 has always been part of the multiplier.

The SH bonus applied only to XP before, so it wasn't displayed as part of the total bonus%. Now it applies to both XP and in-game cash, so it does appear as part of the total.
