Tasks glitching out

Not saying this to worry you but you haven't given you details to anyone else have you? You may be messing with you town?

Only asking as this does seem a very strange situation :?

I did worry about that because my eBay account got hacked few days ago but it's strange because the random tasks are just assigned when I catch them, like just started. My money, donuts, inventory and design is all the same.
I just checked again after setting all 12 tasks and they are all over the place, 45sec, 10 min and 1 hr tasks have been assigned to most of them now.

If you haven't done this already, I would change all your details to do with that account, password etc to something completely different to play safe and see whether your game keeps doing it :?

Have you also done the usual things like install reboot blah blah, and also a hard re-boot of your device?

Your not alone Jordan, this has been happening to me too, been busy last couple of days so set characters to 24 hour tasks, twice. First time wasn't sure whether I'd just set people onto wrong times because I had

Mr burns on 4 hour task
Sideshow Mel on 8 hours
CBG on 6 hours (at least a premium task)

So I collected and set them on 24 hours again. Afterwards I had

All of the above plus

Apu on 1 hour
Tatum on 4 hours

I'm always careful when setting tasks, and usually notice if I set wrong, methinks there's a bug about

EDIT: never noticed this happening during the week, I set my characters to 4, 6 and 8 hours in line with my breaks at work and never had aThis problem, only happened on 24 hours

Seems to be happening on 12 and 24 hour tasks only. Hope they fix this soon....love my 24 hour tasks.

I had Herman on the 4-hour battle plan task as part of his quest line, and after just 2 hours the thumb popped up over the treehouse. At first I thought I had lost track if time, but I had only been home from work for just over 2 hours (and believe it or not, I don't play TSTO at work! ). The game let me collect $$ and XP and moved on to the next part of the quest. I did not accidentally rush the task with donuts.
