Crap, I guess I've been too impatient all this time and just moved on to the next town without collecting my reward.... Tired of tapping on the already collected cash to speed up the collection of the already collected cash. Now THERE'S my number one suggestion for improving the game!
I visit mine regularly. I love to see what they are doing and i have some neighbours with cool designs!

I visit all my 100 neighbours daily. Seems quite a few of them don't play anymore and I probably should just delete those, but so far I haven't. I still enjoy the extra money and xp that I get from visiting them. Sadly I only get about 10-15 visits back.

As far as I know, if you don't wait for the screen to show up with "thanks for helping... blah blah blah", which shows up right after all the money you have collected is sent to your inventory, I don't believe you get any money or xp at all...
I have been visiting my friends a lot, and a few times I have tapped too fast, and gone out of a town before I get that screen up. For the fun of it I purposely did so a few times and checked my moneycount. It didn't go up, but I did use up the three daily tasks. Now I didn't check my xp count, but I believe you don't get the money OR the xp, if you don't wait for that screen...
I have 100 friends and really try to visit them every day. It is so much quicker going through them now that we aren't looking for snakes to whack. Unfortunately it seems that I only get visited by about 10 friends. Feel free to pm me if you have a creative town. I am really getting bored with some of my friends towns.
I rarely do it. There are some days where I go through 10-20 towns to see their progress and help out on getting their righteousness up by tagging up buildings. Other than that, I rarely visit them.
I think the visiting period should be 18 hours instead of 24. Most people's schedules aren't the same each day and it would allow a six hour period where people could visit in the after work period. Because I visited at 11.30 pm lady night I could visit now but it means that I wouldn't be able to visit at 6:30pm tomorrow when I have spare time. Whacking day I managed at the same time each day because it was school holidays and I don't have after work activities. What do you think?
