I've got enough zoo stuff .. not really interested in placing anymore pieces so I've stopped playing this event. I'm probably alone, but I was just wondering.. is anyone else tired of this? :/

  • The Act 3 prize track is going to be tough to stay motivated for, that’s for sure. I’ll stick out Warmongers ‘cause I’ve got a nice spot for it.

Youre definitely not alone neighbor! I threw int the towel after I got (bought) all the prizes, I'm really just phoning this event in. Besides being on the dull side, I'm recivering from surgery, planning a wedding, and we also adopted a dog, so life is a little hectic around here.

I think that was part of the reason I lost interest in it. I tried putting it behind KL and there just wasn't enough land there for me. That along with the fact that it started to really bore me :(

I'm the same, I'm just waiting on the last few decorations for igc to to become available then nothing really interests me, except maybe the skin in the prize track that I think might be a hint for what to expect for Halloween.

  • Nah, I'm good.

Even if I don't have a place or a use for something right away, I'd rather have the item tucked away in storage than not have it at all. I don't want to figure out a design use for something down the road and not have it. Besides, if there is a playable character on the prize track, the character alone is a good enough excuse for me to continue playing.

I think we are going to need a ton of upgrade material in Act 3. Given the price to upgrade the last enclose the next one will be high. I am working on building some up. I blew through 50,000 in 10 minutes the other night, and that's a lot of donuts. I don't miss crafting, but we do need something fresh. There are two groups, the newer people who struggle to get through the prize track, and the long timers who usually have days and days to spare and get bored.

Good point @TheJuiceLoosener. Maybe I'll rush the act 3 prize track, but I'm not building anymore zoo land/gates/trees whatever. I just don't need/want that much zoo stuff :(

    Seems like a solid compromise.
  • I'm honestly pondering if I should store my zoo after the event. Losing my phone left a sour taste in my mouth. And I honestly been having a hard time trying to enjoy the game. I'm looking forward to the final prize track skin. I think it'll serve a reminder within my youth and as I age. I may make homer stay in his teenage outfit until I become middle aged. Or atleast enjoy it as so. I can't wait to play that storyline.

Yowzah @Willy9292 that IS a lot of donuts! I do keep a reserve of 20k on hand at all times but I haven't seen 50k in donuts. I think the reason I got bored is because it's just too much zoo stuff, you know? I seriously have put away a lot of it already.

*sigh* I remember being middle aged. What were we talking about?

Teenage Homer is a full, stand-alone character. Dr. Hibbert is the one with the new skin on the act 3 track.

the final prize, Teenage Homer, is it's own character
The fifth prize, Mad Dr. Hibbert, is a skin

That was 50k in upgrade material, 500 donuts. 50K donuts would be quite the zoo though! Sorry if my wording was confusing.

  • Lost track of what I was typing about lol. But yeah... this is a pretty good event. I'm just not the most enthusiased. I'm hoping a change of scene will make me feel better. I'm gathering my donuts to blaze through the prize track and get homer. I'm kind of down with my town though. I made a major mess just to make a great springfield heights area. I suppose I will start trying to pick up the pieces soon. So all these things combined just have me bogged in a rut. Going to look ahead...

Dang well that ruins it. Not your spoiler but the fact that its not connected. I hate mutiple repeats of characters.
