It's easy to tell a hacker, some just try to hide it better than others, by that I mean they space things out so it may look plausible. But really, aside from 1-2 people, no one is spending thousands of dollars on the game
Here's a person on my friend list, surely we can all agree this user is a hacker? I mean, when do the allowances stop. A hacker is a hacker, easy to spot.

Personally I did speed up tiles not all but enough, I've also dropped hundreds on this game.
So I'm branded a hacker now because I have more tiles then you, I apologize for having an amazing career.

Awareness about what? That you have way too much time on your hands? What are you going to do, turn in a list of names to EA? They don't care or they would have done something really drastic by now. This game is meant to be social, not competitive. Boo hoo, you can't buy a bunch of donuts. Some of us can. Some of us do. Get over it! It's not up to you to dictate or presume what and how much we would purchase with OUR MONEY. It is incomprehensible to me why it should bother you one way or another what people do with their towns unless you simply cannot stand the fact that other people are strategically better players, better designers, have enough money to spend on as many donuts as they want to do with as they wish, or went to the effort of downloading a cheat program. You've got some serious issues if you're obsessing this much over what other people do to the point of having a file with people's names that you assume are cheating.
While I do not condone in game hacking, what is the point of posting anything about it? It's really kicking a dead horse, you may as well try and stop Internet trolling while your at it. Hackers and trolls will be around as long as the Internet is around, not much can be done about it.
