I've tried storing them, no luck. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling, not tried a hard reset yet.

Even tried storing the houseboat, but it starts the mission over when I bring it back out!!

Sounds like it would be wise not to make too many boardwalk tiles until you are given the task to make them. How many tiles did you make before you maxed out on tile creation?

Can you sell one just so you can complete this task?

Have you tried putting a store on there? As it might need a building on it to continue building :)

Yes definitely a good idea to wait on the tile building. There's 151 tiles altogether, no option to sell them to finish the mission unfortunately.

I'm thinking they really don't want people speeding through tasks anymore.

Hello, my first post on here. Loving the new squidport update, however I've hit a bug on completion of Pt 6 in the mission string.

The game asks you to build a boardwalk section, which I rushed through to finish. Now the mission is stuck in a loop unable to complete.

I already had all boardwalk tiles purchased bar one when this quest started. No more progress now until this glitch clears.

I'm in same problem already made my port with over 100 tiles now stuck on part 6 till any glitches are fixed learnt my lesson patience is worth it ? if anyone finds solution they would be friend for life! ?

So the OP spent over $200 to speed up tile production?
    Hmmm

I have a similar problem but with Squidport Pt. 5. The Itchy and Scratchy store is built and I have even collected money from it, yet its still an outstanding task. Even when you check the task it says Done!
The task will just not clear. I have tried a hard rest as well and I can still build boardwalk tiles.

Haven't seen that bug. I got the I&S store completion one (it didn't register it completed. Can you store the squidport sign? That may reset it

Store the itchy and scratchy store in the inventory, then put it back out, that will fix the quest.

Correct. I had exactly the same problem and storing it and putting it back out fixed the quest for me.
