The Simpsons: Tapped Out Bugs and Issues Thread

Hi Gypsy. The game still crashes ever time I try to start it and access my Origin-associated game. It lets me sign into Origin, but then then I tap to continue it crashes. However if I sign out of Origin, I can start and play an anonymous game with no problems. Any idea how to fix that? I've completely closed the app (per the instructions EA posted recently) and restarted it several time.

Hello EA Gypsy,

I have not been able to log on for 6 days now. I was a level 12 with 20$ spent on donuts. I was pretty advanced. Everytime I try to log in it boots me out to my phone menu. Tried my account on 3 different phones all the same problem. But my friends who all started after me are able to log in to their accounts no problem.. Any help on what to do or how long to wait?

I'm stuck on something in the tutorial I think. Waiting for Homer to be clicked? Homer is in the brown house, and Icant click on him while only the Simpsons house front yard is selectable... No character walking across it allows me to do anything - twp, click, drag, hit, nothing. It's stuck on the same point and been for a day and a half, and it's the same problem also when I log into the game from a different device. I simply can't do anything to get past this stuck stage!

Hi,
I have another bug.
I solved 2 quests.
One quest was to plant Perfection on Cletus' farm, another quests was to do an action for Apu.
Both quests were shown twice in the test book.

I solved both quests but the quest icon is still in the test book. When I click on the quest in the test book nothing is shown. So no popup is shown what to do in the quests.

How do I get rid of this sovled quests?

I played it daily since this great game appeared in the store. I bought donuts and I am very proud of my little springfield. Three days ago...I suddenly began to stuck in a kind of tutorial progress...I am at level 11(!) and the app wants me to build the simpsons house again. Nothing is possible any more, everything is faded out behind a black screen...I am only allowed to buy donuts, which doesn't help either. Nothing else is clickable anymore. What shell I do? Springfield is going on and on but I am not able to do any tasks, quests, collect taxes or something else.
I should build the simpsons house (again)...yes, ok...it is existing already and additionally its not available anymore (if i want to build it again,..)
Today they stole my lemon tree...DAMN!

No rewards/money
Bug seems to have occurred. Do not get rewards. Tried to follow solution on help page, do not see mop bucket on other schools. Level 11, can't access some friends but says they have a newer version. Recently lost a lemon tree. Hopefully this info helps, love the game, needs a patch! Thx

Since my problem above - still unsolved, so I created a new account - my new game now resets a few timesaver day. When I launch the game, I'm logged out, and when I log in, the game forgets a few levels of progress. I've probably seen the explosion like 6 times by now, and now there is no way I can even harvest tomacco before it hits level 0 again.
Feel free to add my new account, uninorth13, I hope to get the game server to cure its dementia for what comes to my account sometime soon....

I get the same exact problem!...The game logs me in and immediately crashes....and if I also log out of Orgin and anonymously, the game works fine.....but when I log in to my Origin account again the game always crashes as soon as I enter the game.

Please help!

My game state is completely deadlocked. Road disappeared, level decreased back to level 1 and the Simpsons house is at the wrong position. It wants me to build the brown house, but this one is locked due to level 1 and the location were i should put it is occupied by the simpsons house

Please reset my game state so I can start from scratch. My origin account is: xbenderCH

Game stuck since monday !!
No responce from EA support , the game want that i build simpson house again , homer is in the krusty burger .
No tap is possible , cant visit my friends or any other thing .
I just can claim my daily reward thats the only thing .....
This make me so sad ... And i was so stupid and buy me 300 donouts

I pretty much got the same issue.. I got a wallet stuck at the bottom on my taskbook even though its already completed, it cant be removed or anything, no matter much i click on it..

and i lost 10 donuts when the game crashed, right after i just got them in a mysterybox, that kinda really sucks too

Would be awesome if i somehow could get then back and the damn wallet could be removed

Quest Problem - replace Kwik-E-Markt

Got a Problem And i cant Play since some days. I am now At Level 11 And got a very Bad Bug. Homer startet a Quest to replace the Kwik-E-Markt in front of Flanderns Home. I have to put the Markt in the right position. After i have done, Homer told me, that isnt in the right Way And i have to put it in the Computer ask Position. I cant cancel the Quest so i am in a Bug cycle And thats very very frustratet! Maybe the bug has to do with the position in front of flanders home. There are a street and the quest want to put it on the street.... But i havent any option to erase the street... Please Fix is! My id: danlup

Game crashes when I try to visit quite a few of my Origin friends.
I'm assuming it's possible these people have been hit with the glitched town bug or something, but I don't know.
I've since given up visiting other Springfields seeing as it's a pain to try and remember who all makes me crash and who does not...

I have been playing an anonymous game from the first day I downloaded this app. I have encountered the following issues in the past: server connection issues, slow game response issues, missing donuts issues and the like. For roughly a week or so now, my constant issue has been whenever I load the game and it gets to the "tap to continue" part, the game will completely crash on me. I haven't been able to play properly for at least a week if not longer. I'm hopeful that ALL issues will be repaired soon and that I can, at some point, resume my game. Thank you.

Connection issues have mostly gone for me, though I do have the issue that depending on which server I connect to I get a different version of my town. I have to keep quitting and restarting the application until it 'finds' the right one.

Hope these issues get sorted soon..

Re-post from another threat.

At level 10 the game asked me to rebuild the simpsons house... again, and when clicking in the task the message says "1/1 Done!" but the job stands still in the task list. And I cannot do anything but collecting money, XP and plant stuff.

Another related issue is that the last time I leveled up the popup said Level 2!!!! even though I was at level 10 then, and now it displays level 11.

I believe the bug appeared after I bought my first secret box (with 500 money in it).

Somehow the game plays at one level but internally it plays at a different one.

I also suffer from the 2 different springfields loading one or the other at random.

Like others, I am being asked to build another Smpsons House (at level 11) and am unable to progress until I do so. Also, my Lisa has disappeared.
