Having similar issue for a week now. game freezes a couple seconds after freezing. Have tried reinstalling. EA says to wait for bug free update. Won't hold my breath. Now I'm missing current event!
My game is also crashing when i tap buildings to clean up trash...so very frustrating!! Every day a building is added to those that make it crash. One day they collect fine...the next, a new building is added to the 'do not touch...it'll crash' list. Im missing out on collecting blueprints!!!! Not happy!!!!
Couldn't finish the last set of quests because the game wouldn't load just a spinning donut. Now I'm back & if I try to clean up the "trash" in my Springfield it completely shuts the game off and I'm back on my home screen.
After having difficulty with the game freezing up during clicks on buildings/characters, I looked here to see if there is any resolve. But looking here, all I see is the same issue posted again and again. Can someone from EA comment on how to fix this issue or update your servers. Should be no reason to have updates on the game and the game not fully functioning. Like a lot of people are saying, we're all losing progress with the new event because of this problem. Looks like WAY too many people having the same issues for there not to be an answer to this. Please fill us in on what to do or shut the server down for maintenance to solve this issue for the consumer!!

P.S FREE Donuts wouldn't be a bad answer if EA can not fix this issue. We're behind on the new event so donuts could speed us back up!!
All the sudden my town went blank when trying to move a track piece, after which Flanders and Lisa became unavailable to use. It wanted me to buy them again which I tried but it didn't work. I demolished my town in hopes that it would fix the issue... It fixed the problem with Flanders and the town blanking out but Lisa is still unavailable and says under construction... I now have 2 Simpsons houses and can't use Lisa for jobs so this sucks. I imagine she is needed to progress. Please help, I don't want to lose my progress here, months and months of time and all the rewards from tap ball and this monorail event!
Update! She's back now. Lisa all the sudden became available. I still have 2 Simpsons houses but I can live with that. Weird lol
Hi. New to the forums but support told me to post here. I am only getting event currency for 89 friend actions. The 90th just gives me cash no duct tape. This is an ongoing issue I first noticed in the Terwilliger event.
Although there are plenty of notices on this error, I am sure EA is tracking the numbers, so I will add mine.
Like many others, my game has been locking up immediately upon entering. This started shortly after ACT 2 began. Hopefully EA will get this issue corrected soon and be kind enough to extend the deadline on the current event.

I have tried the following:
- reset the game
- restarted my device (several times)
- closed everything out and restarted after waiting 10 min, 20 min, 1 hour, 5 hours
- upon re-entering game, I have tried to:
- go to the garbage dump (froze)
- go to latte or yoga mats (froze)
- plastic recyling (froze)
- tap $, cash registers, thumbs up....wa able to do this longer than anything, but after about 1 min it froze
Hello . I have exactly the same problem , the game hangs at any time . It gets really irritating because I missed an updated I found excellent . I sincerely hope you will find a solution , because for me, the game becomes pointless.

Normally I can complete all the missions with at least 1 day spare, earning extra donuts in the process (my expereince on previous missions)
I feel cheated that I can not get "ray patterson" with the reduced time, as the update did not actually update! (i only had 4or 5 (i think it was) days to complete 10 missions, i managed 9 with a day of not sleeping)
I feel like I should like to be compensated for your mistakes.
Oh and the game crashes every time i goto another friends city, sometimes taking me hours to actually dump garbage/collect rolls of tape

every time i want to take of the trash of the church or krustyburger and a several other buildings. i get disconnected. Then i have to start the game all over again. The trash isn't gone and it happens everytime over and over again. I tryed what was said before but the issue is the simpsons house cant get in the storage and has the same problem.
Also if i try to visit some villages of people in my friendlist i get disconnected as well. And this happens everytime with the same people. They are still active because i'll see they did some activity in my village.
Starting a couple updates ago I've noticed a game slow down.
This seems to be a resource leak/starvation occurring after several open/close events.
Starting from a fresh reboot or fresh launch of the app after killing it, it runs quickly and smoothly. If the app is temporarily closed (back to home screen or another app etc) and let to linger in the background for a while then reopened, it runs a little slower. Close and open again, slower yet. Leave the app running for a very long period of time, no noticeable change in performance.
FYI - I found on another thread (Game Freezes) that someone thought the problem was with the Tetanus Monorail (having two monorails).
Once I stored Tetanus away, I no longer had freeze issues.
I would do this if I could, but my game freezes within one second, which does not give me enough time to do anything. Even so, my tetinus station is at the other side of my city from where the game opens, I'd need at least 10 seconds to get to it. EA, is it possible for you to adjust my city to put away the terminal until this problem is fixed so I can return to the game?
I Am one very VERY annoyed tapped out player. Since the monorail update, I've not been able to complete "a rail of one city" part 5. This has been going on for over a week now. I've contacted EA games on chat and been given 20 donuts free for the inconvenience. I don't want donuts!! I want to be able to progress on the game! My dump is full, and the task is to gather waste. I cannot do this, and I don't have a project board or recycle plant to empty the dump. This means I'm also very behind in the tasks and only got the first 2 prizes to start building the monorail after spending donuts to get there as I don't have conductor homer! SORT IT OUT EA!! :x

I have been locked out of my game for days now. I thought maybe the game had used all the space on my device but having read all the other messages I guess it is the same issue. It started after I added the the tetanus terminal.any idea how long to wait for it to be fixed before giving up?

All morning I have been trying to log in. I get to the 'Daily Play Combo' screen and it freezes. Goes no further.
Is there a problem on your end or is it maybe because I'm 9k items over the limit?
The warning does mention I may have problems with the game but I didn't expect this.
If it is due to my amount of items, is there some way I can get in to remove some of them?
