When I updated to level 57 I received my donuts after getting the pop up. I also got the quest and dialog. I closed the game came back in a little bit and it bumped me back down to level 56 but the quest is still showing even though I can't build the overpass restaurant.
some of you might have experienced the following issue:
I just received the update for Lvl. 57, but the typical splash screen (Level up - 2 doughnuts) did not show up. Homer kicked off the task for Lvl. 57, but all new buildings are locked, since I'm still stuck at Lvl. 56. It should have been an automatic level up upon the successful in-game update.
Solution:
I contacted EA and they are aware of the issue. A mini-patch will be released shortly! :-)
I reached level 57 and became a black screen. After that, my game starts from the beginning.
Can't get the hippie and (still) get logon-errors, but logged in after the error appears!
My game has been freezing a lot for over a week now. Sometimes I can play for 20-30 minutes without freezing, other times it happens every 30 seconds.
It seems to happen when I access menus for various monorail tasks and Springfield Heights tasks or when I am collecting XP and rewards from the monorail and Springfield Heights tasks.
I was able to play fine this morning, but at some point I was no longer able to log in. After pressing "tap to continue" it tries to load for a couple seconds, then quits out of the game. It must be an account issue and not a game issue. I've tried logging in from several devices, same thing happens. I can log into other accounts on my devices just fine. It's only this account for some reason. Very frustrating for this to happen during an event. I've contacted EA about the issue, but God only knows if they will actually do anything about it other than tell me to try all the things I've already tried, that other people have suggested over the years.
Yesterday I updated to Level 57, got the donuts and also started to build the building for the quest line as well as the other two that were available. I logged back in a few hours later and everything was gone and my game had reverted back to Level 56. The buildings that had started building are gone as well as all the cash I spent to buy them. I've tried logging out and back in as well as uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing seems to be working. Anyone else having this same issue? javascript:void(0);
Temporary fix for missing characters: Store the buildings they're attached to and then place them back into your Springfield. The characters have reappeared for me.
Still no fix: lots of disappearing buildings when modifying my Springfield.
Bugs: Double premium items in storage. I had to repurchase/rebuild City Hall and Cletus' Farm to get their attached characters back. Sold extra City hall for cash.
Also: add me! atappedoutaddiqt Level 57 daily player. :-)
Is their going to be an update anytime soon to fix the game freezing up? I have lost my recycled goods multiple times and it's getting old! It's hard enough to get all the stuff before an event is over without losing things that take hours to make
Anyone else having problems getting the game to open today? Haven't been able to play since this morning. Using a kindle fire hd. Restarted and everything.
Can only visit one neighbor then game crashes when I click to go to the next neighbor. Tried some different suggestions from other people but nothing helped. This is frustrating and am losing opportunities to collect needed items for this event.
I will wade in with my 2p worth. Both devices are frozen up, Very aggravating and I hope that extra time is given and compensation to complete the Monorail quest.
I've just about reached the end of my rope with the glitches in this game!! I lost out on the last prize in the first act, because of the glitches, and now suddenly, after finishing daily tasks, I can no longer turn in projects. What's up with that crap? After I finished the daily task, it says "completed" on all of my projects, therefore not allowing me to progress any further with monorail! If I miss out on the rail yard, because of these constant glitches, I'm deleting the game! Why do you have this page if you don't read it?? Numerous people are having issues and yet nothing is done! I can see why I have lost a lot of neighbors... And you pester people to spend money, when you can't even get the app to work right?!?!? What a joke!!!    :x :x :x :x
The forums are basically for the players themselves, and mostly, the only answer's you'll get are from other players, or the Moderator's. If you're having issues, at the bottom of the page where it says help, click on customer support, then follow the prompts. EA gives you 3 options to choose from, but, being a holiday, one or the other might not be available until after. The options that you have under normal circumstances are, you can live chat, have a call back if you leave a number, or Email. Two weeks ago I was also having some major issues. My game was totally frozen. I went through the help pages, and chose Email, which clearly states, it can take up to 48 hours to get an answer. I was lucky, as I had a response from EA in about 20 minutes. They explained, that they knew of the problems, although, not everyone were experiencing them at that time, and they were working on the fix, but they couldn't give me a time frame. I couldn't get in for two days, then they fixed what ever the problem was.
In the mean time, try unhooking all the tracks from the stations. My game plays a lot better, and my friends, that have also unhooked theirs, makes it easier for me when I visit. Players that keep their monorails up and running all the time, make their towns have a lot of lag, and on quite a few occasions, I've lost the connection, and have had to go back into the game. I also on occasion have a freeze up n my own town.
I did my best to explain what you should do, and not rely so much on the forums, in the hopes of getting the answers you're seeking. Also, sometimes, EA will give you donuts for your loss, but not always, so don't expect it, unless they tell you they gave you donuts.
I too have also had the same problems with missing parts of Springfield along with attached characters. I called EA last Tuesday and they said they were aware of the problem ,would fix, can't tell when, ect. Since then they have had an update and the game still sucks. I cannot replace buildings easily since aprox. 30% of my S'field was wiped out and I cannot put anything on this area and expect it to work. The buildings that are there do not cycle for taxes and any characters using these buildings will not complete the tasks (no time cycle?) I feel the problem is with the monorail and I will try to rip more of it out, but building monorail is were the problem started....EA has a short time to fix this or they will lose a devoted fan!!!
I have had nothing but problems since the monorail started. Half my town disappearing, upgraded buildings not getting their new pieces, and missing characters. Because of these issues they had to reset my springfield back to before the monorail when it was working fine. That seemed to solve the issues(except I still don't have the building pieces)up until act 3. Today when I started act 3 my game keeps freezing when I assign characters to do anything monorail related. I already missed oyt on act 1 and 2. Act 3 gives you the ability to build track pieces if you get the railyard which now I also most likely wint get. I love that the best update ever you guys destroyed. It almost seems in purpose. Anyway if I dont get the railyard you have lost a player who has been playing since the beginning. Just for anybody reading this I have limited time so this is only about half of the problems ive experienced in the monorail updates.
I contacted EA today. I can not even get in to the game without it closing down. Haven't played in over a day, and I am losing out on timed events. They said an update will be coming, but if it doesn't soon, I am giving up on the game!
So my game wouldn't let me get onto my project board and kept sending me to get a new one, once I placed it, all my terminals and railway pieces were deleted logged off then back on and they were back, but I still can't get onto my project board
