In game actions that cause system crash to desktop every time. Since chapter 2 of the monorail story.
- playing the balloon sub game in krustyland
- visiting any alternate Springfield
- loading the FtP scratcher sub game
- loading the friends screen crashes to desktop 80% of the time.
I have reinstalled the game and have updated to the latest patch(8-27), disconnected the monorails and stored all pieces and stations. The symptoms persist on my lvl 57 game w max friends. My lvl 38 game w no friends only freezes when I try to load alt springfield, nothing else.
I'm running a 1st gen iPad with the min OS req by EA and that OS can't be updated. I forgot which, but I verified it. There is tons of hd space on this device.
If I had to guess I'd say the mem cache and/or vid display hardware on this "ancient" Ipad have fallen behind the dev window. I've seen these symptoms before on my PC over the decades and an upgrade always took care of the issue. If this is the case I suggest the EA update the recc specs to run this game. It won't make users of older devices happy, but it will help new users decide if this game is right for them.
I am an UNHAPPY USER! Every single time an event is on its last day, my game starts that "synchronising" crap after I hit the login button and it resets my Springfield. I then have to uninstall and reinstall the game to get it to work right. After an hour long installation, I can access the game for a few minutes then it crashes, starting the whole dramatic process all over again. I can never get the big prizes at the end of the events because I constantly have to unstall/reinstall the game to get it to work for only a few minutes. This has happened to me since the Halloween event last year. I'm sick to death of not getting the prizes I should be able to earn if I wasn't spending the majority of my time reinstalling the game. I haven't gotten any of the main prizes in any act of the monorail event because of this issue and I'm about to miss out on the Rail Yard because the same issue is happening AGAIN! I am TICKED OFF!
I'm locked up at the "Daily Play Combo" screen. I close out of the game and restart with no change. I've removed and reinstalled 3 different times and no change. Not sure how I'm expected to play the game or get the station to make rails if you can't even get into the game!
Hi, I collected the Rail Yard but for some reason all the tracks I have been awarded are NOT in my inventory? Why is this? Will I be getting those tracks back or not? Please look into this otherwise whats the point of having the Rail Yard if I cannot earn extra tracks???? I've handed in 30000+ blueprints and not one single track is in my inventory... hope it is there when the update comes out in the app store!!!!!!!!
The new update whipped out half my buildings. I tried to use willie, it said I had to rebulid him, i tried to cancel and now half my buildings and decorations just disappeared, including premium content. HELP! What do I do?
Hi all, after I updated today to remove the Monorail event, I noticed that my Railyard is not registering the blueprints for my mystery track pieces. I'm assuming this is a bug, and just wanted to bring attention to it. [screencap added to demonstrate]
The above bug is happening to me as well. A little disappointing as the time frame for 5 donuts is only a week and we're starting out behind schedule now.
Actually, just found out, if you visit your krustyland, the game will award you the track. Strange bug, but at least you can progress. Hope it helps you, buddy

Last update removed overpass diner, maison derriere, center for geriatrik medicine, shotgun petes, Old gray mare and gargoyle, ive purchased them all (some for donuts) before the update and now EA wants me to purchase them again!!! Ive contacted EA helpdesk, they said that they wouldnt refund me, just that i should go here. So...... EA, here i am.... Where are you?
pretty devastated atm, paid for Maison Deriair and belle when it was released on 3rd of September, went and spent money straight away on doughnuts to bay for it, completed all the tasks and when I had got Sabastian on the monorail tasks I started grinding the springfield heights. update just done (didn't realise the advice wasnot to) and I have lost all the work I did on level 57 and belle has been lost and put back to be paid for again, but all the work oh heights is still their. I am not happy at all, in fact I feel a bit ripped of that I may have to spend another £7.99 to rebuy Belle. any advice?
Same issue, level 57 reset after Monorail takedown update. lost premium items of Mason Derri?re and old horse along with level 57 cash items including gargoyles, old Jewish man etc and game progress (xp reset also)
Click on the railyard and the bottom of the 3boxes tinycogs, regular sprockets, and thingamajigs there is a blue status bar on how many blueprints I have collected before the next mystery track piece. Well my blueprint counter is over 10,000 for the first track which is 5000 blueprints. I have not received my piece. My blue status bar goes right off my railyard page and on to town. Any ideas?
I lost Old Gray Mare, Maison Derriere, Shotgun Pete's, and Center for Geriatric Medicine after the latest update. I spent money for donuts for the the Maison Derriere. Assistance needed.
Firstly, my rail o mall registers the number of blueprints I gain by turning in metal, plastic, etc. but the track pieces aren't put into my inventory until I visit Krustyland. Once I do, they appear as they should. I'm sure with all the others that I have seen posting on this that you are already working on a solution - I just wanted to let you know that I am also one of the victims of this glitch.
Secondly, I have never been able to access "the investorettes Pt. 1" quest and therefore cannot add Fleet-A.Pita buses to my Springfield. I don't know if this can be fixed or not as I am at level 57 and the questts should have been available at level 37. If it can be fixed without me losing progress or having to re-do everything, I would really appreciate it. If not... I guess I'll just have to live with it.
I forgot to add that the some of the buildings in the Springfield Heights event are locked in my inventory with a *formula req. warning written underneath. I also cannot store any of the other buildings "bought" during the Springfield Heights event. Each time I try, I get a notice saying that I can't store them.
After last update ( yesterday in the evening) i few characters are missing(bart,burns,lisa,quimby and more...),back to 55lvl and missing few buildings....help...
Since last update this morning 16 Sept 2015, the Rail yard do not open the mystery track pieces once target reached. The amount shows eg. 33151 / 30000 but do not open the pieces to proceed to next one. There is still 5d left. Plse help. Thx.
