Wi-fi connectivity isn’t always all or nothing. If you haven’t already done so, you might want to run through the usual suggestions — force close and restart app, device restart, router restart, etc.
i have the quest 'Code Brown' - I am stuck on making Cletus 'harvest copper wire'. I am level 41. I am damn sure, I do not need higher than 41 to 'unlock the quest for it' and have done all quests bar side show bob, from pre-30. As you would guess, this has kind of jammed my entire progress and I have found no solution.
I have had ALL springfielders 'free for use' - still grey.
I have wiped out springfield, have 1 of every colored house (just in case, including the quest brown house), with cletus and the Simpsons only placed... same issue.
This has been going on for a month? now. I am at my wits end what I can do about this issue. google and similar shows jack squat and I am about to just quit the game, as I can't progress vital quests.

'Code Brown' is part of the quest line for level 33 (Eddie, Lou and the S.W.A.T. Van). There are 4 parts for this quest, as follows:
Make Homer Break Into The Brown House and Watch TV - 3 minutes
Make Bart Paintball in the Brown House - 2 hours
Make Cletus Harvest Copper Wire in the Brown House - 4 hours
Make Wiggum Nap in the S.W.A.T. Van - 6 hours
Have you been able to do the other 3 parts of the quest successfully? Have you been able to carry on with higher level quests lines? (for example level 34 Springfield High School with Chalmers, as the Cletus stuck quest shouldn't hinder your progress for higher level buildings). How many quests do you have in your task bar? Do you have any other quests in your task bar for Cletus that you could finish?
One thing you could try:
Store Cletus and his farm, the SWAT van and ALL brown houses that you have.
Go to friends screen or Krustyland and back to your town to synchronise the game.
Place the farm, SWAT van and brown houses in your town.
Norbert give me yesterday the black leather plane mission. but no new adventure task. only said: All adventure task has completed, come back tomorrow. (my game is in Spanish) I'll wait until today and same message.
And if I tap the face of the character in the left top corner, nothing happens.

Quest: Code Brown - all 3 steps EXCEPT Cletus are completed (and have been for a good long while now).
Higher quest lines: Yep. chalmers is done, step... 13? of his quest complete.
other quests with Cletus: None (at least at the step I am on with them).
'Resync' - I have done all that, and just redid it as you said to the dot, to sadly, no avail. I have literally uprooted the entire town and placed only those items, and have replaced 'every single item i have in my inventory' to assure neither are it. both resulted in nothing. >.<

I have NO access to 'Springfield General Hospital' quest at lvl 24.
I cannot do the quest: 'buddha's got back pt. 4' - Make Carl Date Lenny's sister. Other twos are done, but the third asks for a building I cannot do, which requires another quest I do not have.
So a main quest chain is broken, or I've got multiple game-breaking bugs, hahaha -.-;
@SabbyKato awww, sorry that it didn't work, but it is helpful that you have added that there are several lower level quest lines that you have been unable to finish. At least you are able to continue with higher level quest lines whilst we try and trigger some of the lower level ones. Those two you mentioned are notoriously difficult to trigger. I recently started a new (my 3rd) town and have been compiling a guide to help new players. Probably the Cletus quest won't be able to be completed until some of the earlier quests are unlocked.
LEVEL 24: ( Hibbert/hospital) the most likely place for this quest line to not trigger is the quest 'Medical Industry Corruption? - Make Mr. Burns Hide Nuclear Waste'. Store the cooling towers (and Burns), go to KL, return to town and replace the cooling towers.
LEVEL 27: Buddha's Got Back Pt. 4 - Build The Adult Education Annex, Make Lenny Teach Classes on Chewing Tobacco, Make Carl Date Lenny's Sister. Do you have this quest in your task book? Have you built the Annex yet and sent Lenny on the quest there? Or do you mean you haven't got that far in this quest line?
Already submitted a Bug to EA, but ran into this bug (first time ever seeing it) yesterday. I log-in and I see my Springfield, but there is no HUD. I cannot scroll the map around. I cannot interact with anything. I have tried force closing the App and restarting to no success. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app to no success either. I haven't really been able to find anything similar online about this.
I crafted a second Shinto Shrine but all it did was take my credits and didn't give my a second shrine. I feel ripped off...
You usually get a choice of placing or storing a crafting item, have you checked in your full inventory that it is not in there?
That option didn't even pop up. I did check and recheck inventory but it isn't there.

Occasionally items will pop up in a search of the former that fail to show up when looking through all of the latter. But if you’ve already done all of that to no avail, then your only recourse is to contact EA (if you think it’s worth the trouble).

It’s certainly too bad you lost out, but I would tend to agree with you that contacting EA in this case is probably not worth the aggravation.
Is anyone having problems with Act 3? Specifically, when you need to send characters out on tasks through the airport.
I was able to send up to three characters out, but then it went down to two characters, and now I'm at one character. The current one character isn't even at the right destination to complete the task.
I have multiple characters free of tasks, but the game won't allow any of my them to fill in and take the spot. So I'm kind of stuck with only one character going out.
I've finish the main quest for Act 3. I'm currently working on the "Who Wants to Be a Brazilianaire?" Part 3.
I've tried clearing out the cache, and reinstalling the game. Also tried installing the game on another device, but neither method works on resolving my issue. Visiting a friend's town has no effect either.
