  • I can’t start the questline of The Vestige, I’ve got the “Do It” button but nothing happens, I’m sure it’s a glitch because I wasn’t prompted to send kids to battle Montymort, please help
  • So another update, another glitch, bug whatever you call it. The last time I had to post here I was also chasing EA through email for results as as far as I'm concerned, I've got "rights" given I spend actual money on this game!
    The Thanksgiving update was given to me this morning (Android/Samsung) and I've been left with a task for
    "Hypocritical Millennial Hipster Pt.1" requiring a character called Jay ...that I don't have. However I DO have the Quick & Fresh
    So I can't do the task, I called EA (waiting 38 minutes for a response...Good eh?) and was told affter 1hr 5 minutes that I have to wait until this character appears in the store.
    Is anyone else affected by this? Because I'm fed up of these errors
  • Does anybody play on the Kindle Fire? The most recent update for several games, including TSTO haven't shown up for me. In fact, the last updates for any apps that show up in my updates list in the App Store are from November 8. I've done a hard restart of the tablet and that didn't change anything. I know the WiFi's working so that's not the problem.

    Is this Amazon delaying updates?
  • Amazon update is out. You could try logging out of and back into your Amazon account on your Fire. If you have an origin ID you might try unintalling and reinstalling your game.

    Thanks Ellie. I'll try seeing if I can log out of my Amazon account on the device. Because this has happened with multiple games this week, and I haven't gotten an update for any app since November 8 I think this is probably an Amazon issue.

    I can't get the Thanksgiving update to install. I can see the icon is live on the iOS App Store, but it just says 'Open' next to it, which when i click just takes me back into the Halloween event?!

    I've tried logging out and back in, but there's still no prompt for the update in the game or the store.

    You can use a gesture to force the App Store Updates tab to refresh: Tap near the top of the screen near the “Updates” text, then hold and pull down, then release. This worked for a number of users who experienced your problem.

    Slots for assignments: 37 slots for assignments.

    Quest: Earn Activist Badges 0/325—-(10 points per assignments)
    Slots for assignments: 7 slots

    Think the assignments slots available should have been reversed? (More slots for the activist badges)...

    I believe that's intentional.
  • Having trouble visiting neighbors. Whenever I complete the 3 tasks and attempt to go to the next neighbor the game crashes. I tried with both my iPhone 6plus as well as my android LG8 tablet both with the same results, complete the tasks, crash, restart, go to the next neighbor repeat the process. That gets old FAST. Has anyone else had this issue?
  • Since the last update, i've got a few issues. The extended range when tapping a building is much smaller then before. So getting cash from the whole town is now again a lot more scrolling & tapping.
    Seems like the IRS thing got deactivated ?

    Tapping the top left character icon doesn't go to the character anymore, does nothing. I have to tap the character that's on screen to have it perform a task.

    Friendlevel is set back to 1st level and doesn't move.

    Some stories were set back a few achievements
    anybody else encountered these ?

  • hi, so i navent been able to play at ALL, after i nuked my springfield i started unpacking when i got to mrr burns Cooling Towers i placed it and the game instantly froze. now everytime i log in its like im stuck in that limbo it auto freezes everytime.... theres nothing i can do or press to counter it.... i uninstalled re installed submitted reports and a week later still cant play ... please fix asap :( i have nearly every buyable item in the game and this isnt fun at all...

    This is a user’s forum. I’m sorry to have to say that no one here can fix the sort of problem you’re describing.

  • Ever since the end of the Old West quest, I've been unable to use Kodos, Kant, Ray Patterson and Sebastian Cobb. Their task bar moves to the upper left corner of my screen, the current quest tasks are locked and the rest of my screen turns green. Can't get my Springfield to return to normal unless I either go to neighbor screen or get out of game and reload. Tried taking the game off my kindle and reloading but problem still exists. I tried loading it on my daughter's iPad...same thing.

  • I tried that...I filed a claim. It said someone would contact me in 13 minutes... that was almost 24 hrs ago...

    It is imperative that you keep pestering them. Re-contact them. Chat and call back options (assuming they are available) typically yield better outcomes than e-mail.

    It’s unlikely anyone here is going to be able to help you with the sort of problem you’re describing. Just us users here.
