I recently unlocked Fairy Kodos in the Class Reunion year book and she’s stuck doing her first task. Just flies extremely slowly across the screen and even though the task is done I can’t click to finish. I’ve found threads online from years back when she was first released (looks like EA has not fixed this glitch) and tried every method those threads had (wait for her to fly across then look for her walking, visit a friend and come back, change house facade) and nothing works. A lot of people had fixed by visiting Krustyland and coming back which is no longer available.
Does anyone have an update to fix this problem? Day One player and if this can’t be resolved by when I need Kodos for Halloween or another event then I may become a Day None player. :(

From Tstotopix, October 2015: Today EA brought to us Fairy Kodos at the start of Act 2 as a new premium skin but something went wrong in the coding and a glitch may occur where her Flirt with Human Males doesn’t autocomplete. If Kodos’ task doesn’t autocomplete, move away from the Simpson House for a few seconds, come back, she’ll have the thumbs up icon on top of her. Another thing to try is going to Krustyland or friend towns’ screen and back to sync the game.
Post on EA answers, October 2015: If Kodos is floating across your screen, keep playing until she's gone all the way across and disappeared and then a little while after that she should just be wandering around with a thumbs up above her head!
Post on tstoaddicts, October 2015: Fairy Kodos is Stuck on the Flirt Task, How Do I Fix This? Readers have advised that it has to do with the Facade on the Simpson’s House. If it’s set to Everscream Terrors you can’t clear it. So what you’ll need to do is tap on Everscream Terros and chance the Facade back to the Simpson’s House. That should allow you to clear the task…

Posted on EA answers, December 2017 Finally managed to resolve the issue. I logged on using my iPad - encountered the same issue, but followed the advice to let fairy Kodos fly to the other side of the screen and she then appeared with the thumbs up a few seconds later. This did not work on my iPhone - it was only by trying on a different device that I managed it.
Posted on EA forum, December 2017 I’ve played this on a 6s, 7 and now an 8. All up to date iOS. I’ll try from my iPad. Holy (insert a lot of curse words excitedly) the iPad released her! It was really weird tho, as soon as the board opened she flew across the screen super fast then bam she appeared in front of the house.

The current version of the game is 4.37.6. Go into the store, click on the cog icon at the top right, go to info > view, then about > view. What version does your game show?
Hello, I am not sure if this is just me or are more people running into this problem. Every day for the past few days, or maybe a week now, the game has been Updating 699 (1687.0 MB) and in most cases asking for me to re-login but nothing has changed each time. The game keeps doing this every day and sometimes twice a day. Should this be happening and when will it stop?

Anyone else got the problem where the Valentine’s day characters will not go on bulk to a task to their Valentine’s day tasks still being outstanding? I can’t seem to clear them and the game is up to date.

Hello, a couple of weeks back I have been unable to load the game. I have a pretty decent android phone with large storage so I know it is not because of space.
I have uninstalled it, I reboot the phone and installed it again to have the same issue where it get stuck and the prompts out from the initial screen where it is downloading updates 17/699 (29,4/1683,3 MB)

Get the "cannot connect to server" screen about once every 1-3 towns when I’m visiting my friends towns for my daily duties. With 100 friends you can imagine how frustrating this is getting..kicked outta game, back to my town, click on friends, find what town I’m up to, complete 3 towns actions at most, get kicked outta game. Repeat this process over and over. Something that should take under 15 minutes is taking up to a hour. It’s honestly making me not want to do the social side of the game. If anyone else experiences this or has a solution please let me know? I've tried multiple different internet connections and it still happens and my internet connections are not disconnecting when it happens. Also people i hide in my friends list are "unhiding" themselves on a daily basis. 2 super annoying problems for me atm.

Need some help bad! All my characters are stuck in krusty burger performing tasks. After they finish, I can click on krusty burger and release them. But as soon as I do, they turn right around and go back into krusty burger for another 12hrs. This has gone on since the valentine's update. Since then I have not been able to play. Reported it to ea with no help. Restarted gameplay. Removed and reinstalled the game and everything is the same. How do o fix this????

You can solve it by storing the Krusty Burger and replacing it in your town.

Now all of a sudden I’m missing items from the current event: E4 Convention Center, Blockoland, Earthland Realms Block Dragon,Flower Cart of Love , Mapple HQ, Happy Little Elves Farm, and Snowboarder Display. I have the characters and the Stormy Island.
I got them all during this event, but those items listed have now disappeared. I asked EA support but they said “It seems that you are facing the bug related issue in the game. I’ve forwarded your concern to the studio team so that they can investigate this further and take the corrective actions to make tournament rewards consistent.”
“At the same time, I would request you to please post this on The Simpsons: Tapped Out forum. The more people you get to talk about your query, the more the developers will take notice.”
