Like many other stuck on the loading screen. The last thing I did was bet on Springfield downs but I had to stop playing during the race. Another reports his game crashed while betting on Sprongfiled downs. Is there anyone else who was at Springfield downs the last time they played?
I swear every time I you guys reset my town back to lvl25 and I lvl up to lvl26 the game crashes. The game says cannot connect to server. Ohh c'mon fix this huge bug.
24 hours and still can not access my game! I did the update in app store, restarted the ipad, have logged off of origin and relogged in. And this is the error i get, i tap screen to access my city and the donut spins, then plays a strumming of a harp sound effect (valentines addon) and just loops the effect until i exit the game. When i reenter this effect is still playing as the game loads then it finally crashes. And then when i restart the app i all happens again.
EA PLEASE ADDRESS THIS ISSUE
Also if i play anonymously all my friends from origin are listed in the game even though i am not logged on? How is this possible?
I figured out the harp sound is a level up sound effect. But game is STILL LOCKED UP
A NEW update in app just occured! I was so excited. Downloaded the updates, exact same problem is still happening.
This has had no new effect on fixing the problem i am having. So now back to frustration. Terrible..
So hey EA, what incentive does a game that constantly freezes up, locks out, and restores game to earlier status any reason to PURCHASE in app items such as donuts? I mean really! This is terrible! Fix the game or just shut it down.
Today my game froze on the friend page and I can't click anything, and every time I go out and back in the game again it's on the same page, I don't know what to do ?
Hi Gypsy. The game still crashes ever time I try to start it and access my Origin-associated game. It lets me sign into Origin, but then then I tap to continue it crashes. However if I sign out of Origin, I can start and play an anonymous game with no problems. Any idea how to fix that? I've completely closed the app (per the instructions EA posted recently) and restarted it several time.

Same problem - also plays the annoying harp sound over and over while it "tries" to load. I would prefer to not lose all of the holiday items I have collected.. and possibly still have a chance to get the rest of the valentines stuff but I can't play at all
Have restarted app, deleted reinstalled and updated app, logged in and out of origin, loaded anonymous game then relogged into origin, reset device, nothing seems to do anything. And yet I continue to try in frustration.... oh the things I waste my time on...
with the amount of poor quality code I've seen with this game, I can only assume EA is using agile methodology! this is absolutely ridiculous, at this point its been days! A fix should have been deployed! How did testers not pick up on the problem SMH! Fix the game!! I've dropped money into this game, pay the developers more, or fire their *... I work with a system that do 30 times more than this game, and we have cleaner builds, and the company is smaller!!! Fix it!
Ive noticed a bug. If the Pimento grove is facing southeast a part is missing in its top right corner. This is not a problem when its facing the other way.
Is anyone else having a problem with the game getting stuck at the Itchy and Scratchy scratch off screen? The game always crashed when I clicked that button. Last night, I got into the scratch off screen, but as soons as I started scratching the card, it crashed. Today, starting up the game I can *sometiems* get to the scratch off screen, but most of the time, it just crashes. As far as I can tell, there is no way to exit that screen back into Springfield. I feel like I made a big mistake by pressing that Itchy and Scratchy button.
I erased the game off my iPad reinstalled and still nothing. Any help?

My xp points got stuck to 1 after 1 leveled up to 25
No matter how many quests and tasks i finish my xp won't increase even though the xp icon flashes when i collect them.
Hello, on my acount I got a task "Valentine's Day Pt. 2", wich requires me to:
1- Reach Level 8 and Build the Van Houten House
2- Make Lisa Deliver a Valentine to the Van Houten House
I am already level 8, and when I go to the shop to build the Van Houten House, it says it's blocked, and is unblocked by a quest. When I click on the information (the "I" icon), it says:
Requires: Level 8,
Trillhouse Pt. 1
Earns 35 cash and 4 xp
Every 60m
My quest requires it, and I can't build it... So I guess it is a bug, isn't it? Could you fix it please?
My game has been freezing at the start screen. I have the same problem on my I-pad. It loads up and says to click to start, but when I do, it freezes and the donut stops spinning. What do I do?
Mine is freezing at the begining too. I have deleted all my friends, reloaded the game several times and it has been the same for days now. It lets me log in so im guessing its a bug in the game. This is getting insane. I even reported it but i havnt got a fix. Does anyone know whats going on?or who to contact? Its only upseting me since it only seems to be effecting a few people so the dont care.

Then with the January 'update' my second account got recent, so I stopped playing it because there was too much to rebuild. Now with this oh so lovely February update, I can no longer get past the loading screen and that annoying as fick harp noise! For a game that brought them over 130million in sales this quarter you would expect better support

As much as I hate suggesting loading origin code on your PC, you may want to try downloading the origin client, then logging in, and removing some of your friends. I had the same problem, because one of my friends was bugged. Since I didn't know which one, I just started deleting the inactive ones first, and that solved the problem for me.
thanks for the suggestion. I deleted a handful of names, and think I got the majority of inactive ones, but am still having the problem. maybe I should delete everyone and get new friends :X

You don't say how many friends you have remaining, but I'm assuming it quite a few. The typical suggestion in these cases is to delete 5-10 at a time.

cannot make quest because lisa is 5 million negative on a task
i have had it for so long and it wont let me do quests for building and characters.
