Fortune Teller Shop visual glitch

Got the same glitch here, which goes away when the building is turned 90 degrees. Kinda cool looking, fits with the Halloween theme. And I just noticed the characters keep changing every few seconds. They should keep it this way!

So, I read this thread and went off to check my own town. My fortune teller shop was fine. That is until I decided to fix what wasn't broken. I turned it and now mine is glitched and I can't even select it now. Curses!!! If anyone is wondering, when it was facing the water it was fine. It didn't glitch until I turned it.

Hide everything but buildings, then aim for the teeny tiny panel that looks like the river place tool in among all the characters, should be the bottom corner, and eventually you'll be able to select it to turn back. Definitely not speaking from experience of glitching myself by accident

I did as you suggested, tried selecting every tiny thing and nothing would select. Then I tried using the area select tool and even though it seemed like nothing was selected, the rotate button appeared and I was able to turn it. Everything is fine now. Thanks for your advice! This is a really weird glitch, never seen one like it before.

I have the same same problem, I'm not sure how to use this way.

It's weird, when you use the area select, you have to have a small green square show up in the extreme lower left corner of the building, and then select. you should be able to move and turn it as stated above. I switched both my Fortune Teller shops in my two towns with the parking lot point screen left (aka toward the ocean), and the building is fine with it's cash register floating above it. Hope they patch this before tomorrow.

Weird. I don’t have the tent yet. I’ve redownloaded the game multiple times now. Nothing triggers it. Did they pull it?

It states at the beginning of the teaser guide that if the fortune teller tent is south facing, it just shows the Fortune Teller's icon and other random images from the town, and it can't be selected anymore....I just plonked mine randomly to start the build, which happened to be east facing so the tent looks normal, but the tasks haven't started even the the building is complete? No, wait ....I'm looking into my Crystal ball, the smoke is clearing, becoming much clearer now, Yes I see the future...and it's, it's, it's.... glitches! it'll all get sorted one way or the other

You might be confused. The Fortune Teller Tent is not the Fortune Teller Shop.

There are two buildings. The Fortune Teller Shop and the Fortune Teller Tent. You receive the Tent in this teaser. The Tent is not glitched. The Shop is from an old THOH Event and is glitched when the parking lot faces screen right. Turning it screen left makes it appear normal.
After building the tent, the freemium quest should continue, but EA made it so you had to purchase the Fortune Teller in order to continue. The Fortune Teller also has her own separate premium quest. I predict this will cause some issues when the primary Event starts next week, unless EA does some patching.

I probably am, it wouldn't be first time. I only had the tent show up in my store, not a shop, thanks for pointing that out.
