PSA - Efficient Dig Pattern from TTT

  • I'm just wondering if anybody's found the full Relic on their first click. It should be possible. I've found Relic Clues on my second click so far and that's the closest I've come.
  • Just to be aware, if you are following a rotation of the efficient method through 90' anti-clockwise (perhaps because you derived it from another source), then the scenery might hide the clue rock from your number 9 tap (which for confusion would be at position 10 above).

If following the 12 tap method, the scenery would hide the clue rock at position 5.

Yes, I did this on my third dig.
  • lol pretending like this pattern will help with anything. Theres no such thing as "clue rocks" its all luck

Take it from someone who had no idea about the dig site pattern. There are clue rocks and has helped me really progress with my pick axes. 23 axes earns me 4 rounds

    You have no clue. :|

@ghallmark814 it was a team effort of a few of us - thanks. I still managed to remember the pattern though :)

edit: this was the first draft, the second pic in this thread was the final version

Yeah I member I had an insane idea that certain rock patterns would only appear in certain areas.

I turned out to be true, but not as I expected (basically the whole digsite is a giant chessboard.)

This is a tried and tested method.

It works and is effective, you could change the order in which you go, however the efficiency remains the same.

The main point is that you hit areas that would limit the number of possible places the relic can be.

This is where math and obsessive individuals turn a game into a simple calculated risk factor with maximum gains.

Trust us, Nissa did the math.

  • I can now raise my hand to my own question.

That was fun times trying to figure out that one! Made that event so much more enjoyable with the forum coming together to try to solve it.

For what its worth I hit all the corners by going one space in diagonally and if that doesn't work hit some random sides. Always get 1 out of 7 hits with that. Always get 3 prizes for 20 picks and usually get 4.

Don't mess with the math

    :D I assume that's tongue in cheek.
  • Ya. Well, you can play any old way you like but the pattern ensures a max of 10 moves and has an average of 7 (the math was somewhere) and there is just no way to consistanty do better.
