Duff Party Bus Lost After Tucking Into Inventory

I bought the party bus, police car and sqeaky kid. Later on the day I got them thy were all gone . I have been trying to contact EA for a month now and no response, they were happy to take my money for the donuts though. My items were out on my land too.

That's bull. They have 48 hours to respond to me by email or on this forum. I've also found a Toll number at their headquarters (15 minutes from my house)... it's *.

I've just been browsing the forums, it is disgusting the way they treat their paying customers regarding their flaws and glitches.

If I don't hear back from them I will begin my own corporate escalation and will keep you all posted.

After just 30-45 minutes of basic Googling I have dozens of working emails to EA corporate contacts, and actually 7 working phone numbers with a 650-area code (their headquarters) from executives in various positions. I called, they work... lol (voicemail, as it is Sunday today).

So I'll give the EA Advisors and this fourm 48 hours to resolve my problem before this paying customer raises hell.

I will keep you all updated. Wish me luck...

@CFLCarmel: I can say this: Before the end of the Whacking Day, I bought a Homer Buddha and got an apple tree. Now since I worked towards getting all the goals from the Whacking Day until the end, I needed to keep some space in my (at that time) small town. I therefore just let the tree stay in my inventory.

After the update that ended Whacking Day, I wanted to place my tree, but noticed it was gone. I didn't sell it, and hadn't already placed it. It was as you describe (though not a limited time premium, it was still a premium). I did contact EA about it, for me it's a matter of principles. If I pay for something, I want to have it too.

Anyway, I received an answer. They wanted to look into the matter, so I provided more info. After about a week with mailing back and forth, I got reimbursed with the amount of donuts it was worth (20 at the time, now I see that kind of tree is only worth 15).

What I mean to say, is that I do believe EA will help you if you indeed just lost your premium item. Though I am not sure you will get your item back. So since that is what you want (and I understand you), I am not sure you'll be satisfied. Though I too hope you'll get a satisfactory resolution to your problem.
