Can't stand it. I don't think the show takes itself seriously anymore. The two are always backstabbing each other.

Puke.

Your TV show preferences have been ace up until this point, what happened? Lol jk :D:lol:

lol. Seasons 1-5 were actually pretty great. Do you agree? I will admit the show went down in quality after that, but it started picking up at the end of this last season. I do agree with you though, the one thing I'm sick of is the melodrama of them having to discuss their feelings ever time one doesn't agree with the other. I guess that's just for the fangirls. haha.

Even though I can recognize great TV, I can still get enjoyment out of other shows that aren't near say Breaking Bad quality and don't take themselves so seriously (in the good way) like Supernatural does. :)

Never actually watched more then a handful of episodes, like 3 or 4. The ads on TV tell me all I need to know haha. From what I understand the first few seasons are supposed to be okay, but then it goes downhill fast. Don't get me wrong though, it has a pretty heavy fan base. A lot of people rent it from my shop and the new seasons are always highly anticipated.

Looks like we'll have to agree to disagree on this one lol.

Hehe, fair enough. It's just one of those shows that's like a roller coaster in quality and fun, but we all have our guilty pleasure shows. :) Do you have any shows you like where you are in the minority of loving it?

It was ok when it first come out, now it's just a joke IMO. Sorry if I offend but that's just MY opinion.

    SPOILERS****

Yeah, I think it's pretty widely accepted that seasons 1-5 were all great ( because the last ep of season 5 is where they lock Lucifer back up and looks like the series ended there. But the show was doing so great they had to make up new stuff each season. After season 5 is where everyone is split apart on. Some people love season 6 and 8, but not 7 and visa versa. Personally I think each season had it's great moments. But this last season 8 had a few interesting story lines like the men of letters, the golem, and the 3 trials, but everything else inbetween was murky and not all that interesting.

Well to each his own. I respect your opinion; I know I'm in the minority here. I 100% agree that the show wasn't what it once was back in the day, but can still enjoy it. :)

Both great shows, but it's true that some people can't seem to get into them and just aren't getting the type of comedy from Seinfeld. What a shame. lol

Season 1 - 5 were great but the story up to the end of 5 was already writing by the original writer and he only wrote 5 seasons and didnt think it would even get pass season 2 season 6 and 7 were horrible season 8 started to get better and the original writer doesn't appear in credits after season 5. Sarah one of the writers who was with it since the beginning seems to have taking over the series which probably explains the touchy feely brothers now.

You definitely hit the nail on the head. Well said. This show does cater to a strong fangirl base so I just have to suffer through those touchy feely moments. On a side note: My most favorite part on season 7 however is that last or second to last episode where they are riding the impala straight into Roman's company while playing the old school tunes ( until they had to crash it. ) That really reminded of the good old times.

I think next season is the final one so let's hope for the best!

I seem to be THE only person on the forum here who LOVES the Cleveland Show. To this day I have no idea why. It's the pinnacle of urban humour for me. Much more so than off the top of my head, say, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Chappelle Show (sorry emmcee, it's a close second though!), Everybody Hates Chris.

    Can't win 'em all hey?

I used to watch this show solely for the eye candy  not anymore tho, the writing is pretty darn bad. Can't hold my attention, not with superior shows like justified and breaking bad around.

But I know what it means to have a guilty pleasure. Mine is Big Bang theory! Lol! :D

I love that you love the show. I couldn't get into it myself, but there were some pretty funny moments in it. Unfortunately I believe that just cancelled the show now. You should check out the hilarious comedy, sanford and son. It's from the 70s, but should be up your alley on urban comedy!

Not even Dean and Sam's smoldering looks back at eachother for minutes on end can hold your interest anymore? hahaha. Well Justified and Breaking Bad...pretty much anything compared to those pales in comparison.

    BBT def qualifies too.
