They brought back the old lamppost?

Disgusting! How will elitists feel superior to new players when those new players now have access to this highly coveted street decoration?

This doesn't even factor in how the actual game experience is ruined for long-time players who must live with the knowledge that others can have lamp posts which was the only thing preventing all Springfields from being basically identical.

We still got things like Halloween, valentines, christmas updates oh n Duff Racer that show how long certain people have been playing childish_teasing_smiley.gif

Joking aside i personally dont care if people have the lamp posts or anything else, i know i would be peed if i got locked out of the game and missed out on loads of decorations or update stuff.......tbf i almost missed out of WD cos i lost my town right at the start :(

+1. This has been my exact reasoning for bringing back the limited items. Harpies locked out so many users, especially during the Pattys Day update and all the way until Whacking Day. Why on earth should those people not have an opportunity to buy things like the Wishing Well just because it took EA so long to finally cure Harpies.

With the tile problem now fixed! Is their any benefit to friend if you tap on it?

Or is it just like channel 6 and the farm (unless rotten crops) of no benefit to the friend.

And where better of tapping something else?

I just clicked someone's entrance that had a "piece" above it... nothing extraordinary happened. I didn't get a boardwalk piece in my Springfield.

Well the old lamppost was not meant to be taken away in the first place. You don't need to worry to much, the elitists can still feel superior to new players by having other limited items.

    :D

Still, it's not nice to tease the most important players in TSTO by taking away an item even by accident!

Hahaha.... This is EA we are talking about. They can add, take away anything they like at any given moment .

I'm more upset they took away "winter" 2ndary outfits (?) - I want Homer skiing and Lisa doing grass angels!

I got the update this morning and now I have no friends. ****?

I've been noticing I can't access my firiends list and every time I do it crashes or gives me the sorry retry sign and then comes back to my town. Are we the only ones with this problem?

Me too! I hope they bring back those tasks this Christmas. Especially Ned's snowmobile task with Rodd and Todd.
