The prizes are really great. If they didn’t care they wouldn’t have created great new content. It’s a town designing game so if you’re not into town designing you might be disappointed.
Make Nightmare Pile like Zombie Sandwich. All kids trick or treat at once.
The event has only just started,so I’ll reserve my judgement for now.
It is always hard to please all the players all of the time & I don’t mind having a different type of event, rather than following the same formula of the past ie tapx, collect x,make x,rinse & repeat.
Let’s give it some time & see how the 4 mini events develop,we may get a pleasant surprise.
That’s a positive point of view and I so hope you’re right. Traditionally an event, especially one that everyone is highly anticipating, starts off with a BANG. This event has had a sadly anemic beginning. It would be a strange way to do things to start out so lack luster and later amp up the event, but hey, there’s a first for everything.
Why is there so much content on the new download. Over 500 mb. It went from 1593 to 2131. I’ve already had issues everytime I download another ap and have had to free space, but now I’ve freed up as much as I can off of my phone but have had a reset on the game with a new download 5 times today. It’s so frustrating, I’ve been playing since August of 2012. I can’t afford to buy a new phone with more storage right now just because they upped the usage that much.
You should check out the new deals out there. I went from an 32 GB iphone 7 to a 128 GB iphone XR at 0 down. No more cleaning my apps when I download updates which my phone would always do to tapped out. Sorry this sound like an ad, which it is not.
Just saw a video on youtube about tsto Christmas 2013, and even though the guy can't read, it made me miss that Christmas event sooo much. All the colorful gifts bouncing around and the little boing sound they made.
I forgot about dropping presents into other towns oceans or behind a building. Good times indeed. Didn't they use that mechanic 2 different years?
Well, it's my first Christmas. I just spent all of my donuts.
In EA's defence (for once) i will concede that it's tough to find a balance between - "This is big enough" and "This is too big". They just brushed up all their christmas graphics, although you'd think if they wanted to make the game more attractive they'd have music too.
And we're all gonna be busy during Christmas with other things (I for one will be playing Russian Roulette with six glasses of vodka, a dice, and children's paracetamol)
I'm usually ambivalent about Xmas events as usually the deco's and builds are too niche and don't sit well in the town the rest of the year. Also I'm not a big fan of decos per se so to some degree this deco heavy xmas event is a bit of a stinker for me. Also am I right to say that after shelling out 100 donuts for a skin for mrs claws she has no input at all in the event?
However I'm not disappointed as my expectations were low for it. However I always try and find a positive and the 2 characters/buildings on offer at the start of the event will fit well anywhere in my town all year round.
Maybe I've been reading a different forum, but haven't we had multiple "tired of the three act grind" threads for each major event for at least the last year? EA gave you something different. So, quit your bellyaching melon-heads.
Now we know we are getting land tokens this event I'm a happy tapper!
Christmas should be easy going as it's a busy time of year. 4 mini events in one purr fect!
👍🏻glad your happy!
I'm happy that you're happy that she's happy!
I'm happy that you're happy that he's happy that she's happy!
Wanted to chime in on this, but didn't know which complaint thread to post in... I like this format. I the absence of anything truly innovative (all major events have been rehashes of some previous event), just keep it simple with a decent storyline and good prizes.

Also it's great that they broke up the 3 act system.
Horse manure. The format is simplified but there's just as much, if not more, content as last year.
