    His one task requires the “greyhound sleigh”, but I don’t see it for sale and no quest kicked off for me.

    btw why they keep saying 30 years??? 1989+30=2019...

    On mine the task with the greyhound sleigh was locked and said requires quest. Whenever this has happened before its because we don't yet have the required item.

    1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998= 10 years.

    Thus 30 years.

    It’s the 30th year of the show. But it’s been 29 years, today, since the show started. 2018 - 1989 = 29.

    The first season of the show was year one, not year zero.

    The show has aired across 30 separate years beginning in 1989. The anniversary does not necessarily denote the passage of 30 full years of time. This method of counting isn't uncommon for a TV series.

    Probably 31 year anniversary.

    30th year and 30th anniversary are not the same thing.

    This kind of thing has always confused me when it came to sports teams celebrating anniversaries.

    If your team was founded in 1970, you think you'd be celebrating your Golden Anniversary in 2020, but according to a lot of previous teams, the 50th Anniversary would be in 2019, not 2020.

    I'm not sure why the previous year is taken into account when they end up beginning play in the following season.

    This is the 30th year for the Simpsons (ignoring the 3 seasons on Tracey Ullman) and it will finish at the end of 2019 on the 30th Anniversary.
