One building may be free (Nighthawk Diner), it is at the very start of buildings before the Brown House but not sure yet who triggers it. Also, you can raise the US flag on Squidport

Might I be the first to say this update isn't what I expected . Really thought there would have been more. I'm on the second quest now sent APu to make a profit . And can only send 7 characters to buy fireworks at a time. You need 15 people to complete so I guess 7 is max... Very lame. One new building and its a diner! Lol

Actually the Box of Fireworks has one of the highest % bonuses in the game for what you pay (2.25%/50 D). 150 D for a premium character + building is on the lower end of the scale. The Lisa statue's % isn't too bad either. I'm seeing a lot of good value in these new items.
