New Event Format Observation
I find it really interesting that the number one positive, the top thing people commented on about the new format over Christmas (being able to unlock and then purchase unlimited amounts of the decorations), was not included in this event.
It was one of the only things that helped even out some of the short comings (for me, at least), and it just stopped.
Why!?!
Forgive me, I just really want something back. Friend actions? Tapables? Crafting? I really don't care what, just something!
I really didn't (and don't) intend this as a rant. I just wonder why one of the awesome changes got undone so quickly.

Try to view an annoying change as going up in difficulty level. It IS a game, and all we do is tap a screen, so how else can they increase difficulty? It's psychological, ha. I think they like making it frustrating for us, like we reached advanced levels.
Keep calm and tap on is my plan
The riddles we had to solve during the Stonecutters event was a really nice feature that could have been brought back in another format.
Youre right about that. Any variety would be appreciated
I'm honestly hoping the next event is a more major event. Story acts are in the middle of a major and mini. I like the story driven narrative and decorations based on the stories. I kind of wish there was some music though wether its a event theme or just the standard. Its always silent and a event musical chime adds a carrying tone for the event. I think a light hearted little melody would have been nice for this event. There really hasn't been much complaining about this event from what I've noticed, suprisingly. Maybe one here or there about hearts lol. No, but the general feedback has been good for this event
I do like this event. I don't want to call it bare but I feel like there should be more decorations atleast to purchase for this type of event. From christmas and this event there has really only been the prize track, one or two buys per act and returing decorations in the store. They bring the mystery box but I think I had everything but one or two buildings. As others said... Bring new offering to the mystery box. It seems like its always the same usual items. Thats my opinion of this story type of event. It is good to have but maybe level it out a little more with content.
I'm personally hoping the next event is a major. I like looking for the NPC tappable poofs. Having a more expansive decorating kit to craft also. But the crafting has become alot of work for only a little of what you want. And its all in levels. I think it all unlocked per act would be better.
Thats all...
Stonecutters was my favorite event. I would also like a return of the riddles.
Additionally I really get a kick out of the movie genre spoofs: Wild West and the heist events. The spy event would have been a lot more fun if it had been tied together with movie clips as well.
How many acts in this event? No idea because the acts aren't even revealed until you finish the previous one.
Having no deadline for each act also throws off my sense of progress within the event.
This current style was a nice change of pace but I much prefer the old format, felt more like an EVENT.
However the game play was a bit dull and I finished the quest line on a Friday night or Saturday morn. As a result I now have a very health pile of donuts and probably have another week to grow them even further. I’m itching now for a really strong event to blow them on. If it’s a similar type format I’ll just boost my multiplier with most of them.
However, it's also (over) simplified the game mechanics, completely removing any & all need to think, plan, strategize, etc... which was one of the unique components that set TSTO apart from and above most (if not all) other phone/tablet games.
Here's hoping EA will change things up a bit and go back to a varied format.
