I have a few buildings that are connected to the roads but they still make their own way to buildings  I will test this theory out tonight tho ;)

Interesting.... that might explain why Willie seems to do it on the way to his shack. It's in the school yard, so not attached to any road.
Although, the road doesn't go straight up to the prison, yet Legs and Louie don't seem to have any trouble getting there via sidewalks...

The OP is right because that's how the code should run. Now though, characters are moon-walking everywhere and on everything; sideways, diagonally, backwards, through buildings, on water... I think that someone screwed up the code that's responsible for making or deciding on path ways. Seems like it only happens when they are in free roam mode (when they have no job) and when a job is assigned. Once they are released from a job, (when we tap on the hand to get the rewards) they seem to make the correct path ways away from the buildings. After that the code gets all screwy again and they are 'pulling a Jesus' ('cause they're walking on water, get it?... no? :( ).

I've noticed that sometimes they moon walk n don't, I think it has to be with where the character is located when you set task, and where that task is located.
My characters will start moonwalking but when reach a turn begin to start walking normally.
Though is the moonwalking really bad I find it fun to watch.

I have had Lisa not moon walk but teleport to a task with sideshow Bob-like ability.
ex. I set a task for Lisa that was across the entire length of the town and watched her disappear

Thought she was gone for good--When I scrolled over and checked the task destination, there she was going in to the school.

    Never seen it again.
