Blackbeard questline problem

I got Blackbeard from the latest mystery box. The first quests are:

Task: Make Blackbeard Seek His Treasure (4h, Ghost Pirate Airship)
Task: Make Milhouse Run in Fear (4h, Van Houten House)
(infos taken from simpsonswiki)

As I don't have the Ghost Pirate Airship, the quest can't be finished and the quest stays unsolved in the taskbook. Any ideas how to fix it? Anyone else having the problem?

  • I have the same issue. Got Blackbeard last night, but unable to progress questline as I do not have the Ghost Pirate Airship.

    As of now, the only way to fix it woyld be to get the ship. This kind of problem happens a lot because EA doeant consider this when the un-bundle items

  • Mmmm, that’s odd. According to the lists on Addicts and Simpsonswiki, there are two options in the box, Blackbeard or Blackbeard with the Ghost Ship. The ship is not in your inventory?

    I also randomly had BOTH the single Pirate and then the Pirate Ghostship combo. But I already had the Ghostship. I ended up getting the combo and now have one pirate and two ghostships. Random!

  • Just a heads up about this, i contacted EA regarding this and the Ghost Ship was added to my game. Great contact with EA, very helpful and problem solved.

    I just got off the phone with EA support, they said they are aware of this issue, with the ship not showing up in your inventory, and the Assembly Line with Ralf, they told me it would be added to my account soon as they are looking into why this is happening. They said they are rolling them out to players in batches. So i would just contact hem and let them know your missing those items. :)

    Hey,

    I contacted EA and had a live chat, the agent had me hanging on a few times while he checked with others regarding the pirate ship, he came back and told me to check with the fourms. I told him the fourms said to restart phone and the game and if it doesn't work then contact EA. He didn't know what to do and just ended the live chat. Wow.
    I read the fourms there's quite a few of you that have had this issue resolved when contacting EA. great to hear.
    You think I just got stuck chatting with the wrong person?
    Pls help and advise. Thx team.

    Hey @TheGameSS ,

    I understand that you are frustrated however there is no need to insult anyone even if the agent did a poor job and as such I've edited out some of your remarks. I've also removed your topic on this as you've posted it here.

    It appears that the first agent you were in charge of did confirm the issue however he didn't have your account details, so he couldn't make the grant.

    I advise you to find your account ID (aka Mayhem ID) by following the steps here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/the-simpsons/the-simpsons-tapped-out/where-is-my-mayhem-id/

    Then resume your first case (the resolved one) here: https://help.ea.com/en/my-cases/

    Then you request your missing content as we have this issue tracked in our Known issues. Your case may need to be transferred to a specialist with specific tool access however you should be able to get your content back.
