Sell everything! Then buy it again. Then sell it again. I seem to remember that the buy back amount is 25% of the purchase price.

I wish I could nuke a section or two only. I’ve moved a few “sections” and then broke them up and rebuilt. But as convoluted as the storage is, it scares me to fully nuke.

I have exactly the same issue. I was missing some characters and have bought the buildings. So now I have a couple of new characters, but I'm unable to buy other stuff. There are only a few items in the yearbook mystery box left. I tried to store and rebuild some of the buildings, but this does not work. Buying up the remaining items in the mystery box only leads to less and less items, until there will be nothing left to buy I guess.

I spent hours trying to hide all my news vans behind buildings. I made it to about 200 before I realised there was no way my current town design would let me do them all. So I went back and undid all the hiding. Gangsta.

Why don't you use the group storage function to remove the sections you want to replace?

Just to change 5 news vans into 4 warheads? The warheads are definitely much easier to tuck away, if that's what you mean, but it's still too much effort for me. I have plenty of land free, so until space becomes an issue I'll just keep them on the outer reaches of my map.

It'd be nice if you could keep the % bonus on stored items.
