This is the only game I continually play daily since May 2013. I would surely enjoy continuing to play.

    And a bump
Unsolicited friends requests are all denied. Please PM me.
  • Another bump.
  • Last week I let my XP generator run down for the first time in several years, and possibly for good. Really there is no reason to run it. I did pay a lot over the years and had a lot of fun. It seemed like it would never end. But with all the land being released and yearbook sell off, it is like a going out of business sale.

  • Been playing since 2012. Crossing my fingers here that this is just a break for whatever corporate reason, but the Yearbook with no end date gives me pause... 😬

Never spent money on digital content anywhere else. I did on this game. I would like a heads up to know whether it will be worth my while to continue spending time/money.

I don't consider it "doom-mongering" to want communication from a company with which we do business. I call it customer care. Consumer relations. Pretty poor business model if you're refusing to keep customers happy and informed.

Posting the same thing at the end of every thread is not going to bring people happiness.
  • Considering there are 4 threads talking about the same thing. I just wanted to cover everything

Like a lot of you, I have been playing since almost the beginning. I don't even want to think of how much money and time I have spent on this game. I don't want to stop playing. Come on, EA, don't ditch us!

The whole point of this thread is to have a place where the discussion can focus on this single issue and be visible to any EA rep who might stop by.

The side benefit is that it leaves the other threads free of all the (legitimate) whining and despair.

    Speaking of which:

EA, love the game, keep it going, thx.
  • I think the game is over :'( . I'm still farming donuts to complete the yearbook and get all the land but after that there will be nothing to keep me playing. A great shame as I've played daily since the first Christmas when I joined.
I love my computer...all my friends live in it

So, here's a plan. A website for "bandago" has a section for blimp rentals. We get together the fee ($150) for a one-person blimp (the rental company provides the fifteen minutes of training, and off goes our designated TSTO forum member solo pilot.)

The $150 covers 250 miles per day, and (depending on headwinds, I suppose) the trip from the Bandago place in San Francisco to EA headquarters in Redwood City (under 40 miles round-trip) shouldn't take more than a day.

We write a message to EA on the side of the blimp. I can't figure out what to put on it. I bet none of their legislators ever thought to codify public morality standards controlling what can be written on a blimp.

Any of you folks available to take what must be a gruelling fifteen-minute training course and then fly a blimp past EA headquarters?

    (Fifteen minutes. Good Lord.)

Remember the old days, back when we had updates? Partridge farm remembers.....
    ~Always be Designing~
Don't increase the Item Limit? Then I don't play. Period.
  • So, IF we were getting an update tomorrow, the content would be on the servers today. Is that right? Probably a question for someone like @LPNintendoITA. 🙏🏻
