Maybe we should ask Matt Selman what is going on with our game. Early in this year he commented on Twitter about that the brand was still strong next to a billboard of Tapped Out.
The other thing that I think is a subtle message to us is in part of the dialogue of Marge the bat:
"Homer: Burns is forming a baseball team again? Baseball was lame then, and it’s lamer now!
Carl: It’s like the old man’s run out of ideas. Or some old men somewhere have."
Maybe they are running out of ideas, or they are runnings of devs working on the game? I hope the game is still strong so we can play for more years.
oh well I can just spend by hoarded donuts on the yearbook then. I'll soon run out of content so will buy up all the land afterwards. Once I've done that I can really redesign my Springfield then take a photo and save it somewhere for the memories.

I have Billions, 15,000 donuts, and an empty yearbook.
It’s like I finally retired and now every place I can spend money at is closed.
Some of my favorite memories of my boys growing up were of this very thing. They were always so determined not to fall asleep, I always wondered what they thought was going to happen, or what they thought they were missing...
I do not accept unsolicited friend requests! PM me and say hi first.
At this point, I firmly believe that if this were simply down time to work on things, gather new ideas, develop new game mechanics, etc, then they would have surely posted something somewhere to that effect. They have nothing to gain by causing us to wonder if the game is over. I haven't logged into my game in days and am close to deleting it. Easy enough to reload if the game starts back up again, but it takes up a lot of space on my phone to just be sitting there.
It's very possible they don't know yet what they will be doing with the game, and that may be why they haven't said anything...but again, saying nothing probably benefits them if the game is indeed over. It does not benefit them if the game is not over.
The game is either 100% over, or there are discussions being had as to whether they want to continue the game. This is not a creative hiatus.
Long, long-term time TSTO player/investor (time and $). Let us know what is happening. EA, you don't have an obligation to us, but our money/support memories are longstanding. We will fully support of strongly boycott EA products will commensurate fervor. Just a game, but people care. We planted our gardens; don't burn out the harvests we aspire to reap. Communicate. We are prepared to speak loudly as often regarding your response (or silence). TY. - loyal TSTO & Simpsons fan.
Hey, we get it, it's all about the Benjamins. But if you check your profits from this game, I would bet dollars to donuts (get it?) that you'd made a tidy sum. And, there's more to be made. So why cut off the gravy train? EA has a huge rep in the gaming world as being **** who only care about money--well, here's your chance to eliminate the **** part and keep getting paid. Stop doing the wrong thing and make this right.

Give it a few more hours.

That's everyday here, silly!
But today seems especially special.
