  • Been playing since the get go! Love the game, spent such a huge amount of time, effort and money on it and loved every minute! Stayed with it through all the difficulties, highs, (most Halloween events) lows (Easter event, and Pagan christmas in particular)! But i really do think the axe has been swung! Hopefully EA will do the decent thing and confirm either way! Dont normally comment but felt the need! Kinda missing that little buzz of a new update, and wondering what we would get next! Thanks for the good times EA but you could at least let the players know if this is the end of TSTO! Probably, but hopefully not!

I can tell you one thing this hiatus is doing, it's killing the forum. Currently there is only 11 accounts logged on......

That's for sure. Some of the people we used to see posting daily are awol. All we see now is continual new threads on the same topics
Unsolicited friends requests are all denied. Please PM me.
  • This is the first time I’ve posted. I’ve specifically logged in to add my name to the long list of protesters/customers/users. It is incredibly disappointing after playing and putting a lot of money into the game that it looks like EA is just quietly letting it fade away.
I hope this is not true and that EA will continue to add content and will keep playing for the thousands of users who still play.

There’s nothing to discuss, so it’s not surprising there aren’t active topics on anything else. I suspect EA decided months ago to pull the plug. After that, they rolled out whatever was left in the pipeline, then a few more weeks or months of just collecting the dwindling revenue, then... lights out.

Been playing this game since my granddaughter loaded it onto my new IPhone way back in 2012. This is the game that I faithfully play morning, noon and night, I might as well add all hours of the night. I, along with everyone else who has posted would like to know if this is a slow death so that I can quit cold turkey. I really hope this is not the fate of TSTO, however the silence on EAs end speaks louder than words to me. 😨

My daughter turned me on to this game in December 2016 so I have only been playing for a few years. Like many of those who posted before me, we understand business plans change, resources get allocated to new games and older games may no longer be the cash cows they once were. But we hope EA, you think twice before putting the game out to pasture. If you can't promise us that then at least post the obituary so we can mourn and move on.
  • Playing for years, spent good old cold cash for fake donuts. At least tell us if you are ending game....if you do then give us refund for all the donuts we’ll never get to use. Better yet get going on new fun things for the Simpsons to do. I love this game play many many times a day!!
  • As loyal fans we just need you to say something! Are you just thinking about where to go and it’s still up in the air? Are you ending it? Is there any hope? Are you going to continue and we should all just hang in there? Doesn’t take more than 1 minute for you to answer any of those questions. Please have some consideration for your fan base. We are all still here!!

I’m in the same boat. Long time player of the game but this the first time I have ever posted. I also understand that eventually all good things come to an end. I have spent a decent amount of money on this game over the years. It is one of the few. And I don’t regret it at all. I wanted to reward the developers and support something that gave me much joy and entertainment. But if you do intend to kill off the game allowing the option to continue to purchase and spend real money on donuts is very reprehensible. I think most of us most definitely want the game to live on. But more than anything we want information!!

We are here, LOTS of us, and we expect the decency of a response from EA. It’s a simple choice, ignore us and let the game slowly die, or be decent and let us know your intentions.
  • Did Sideshow Bob win? Are the Simpsons dead? Game seems like it is in a coma. EA, let us know if you are pulling the plug or if there is hope for a full recovery.
  • Started playing right at the tail end of the very first Halloween event. I play this game multiple times a day and have spent countless amounts on donuts over the years. It would be nice to have official confirmation whether the game is dead or not.
  • It’s great to see so many players who haven’t posted much on the forums but love the game, speaking out about the silence of EA. I’ll admit that I was one who said the game wasn’t going anywhere and to just be patient. Now, I think was wrong. I just want confirmation from EA. Whether or not the game is over, just let the players know. They don’t owe us anything but that.

Matt Selman just replied to my tweet asking about the game and he said “It’s not over I swear!” That sounds very promising. So hopefully we’ll get an update yet.

This is THE FIRST AND ONLY game I’ve played everyday since I downloaded it, and I’ve done so within days of its release. I still come back every day even though you have given us no new content. Please support the fanboys and gamers who love this game and give us new content.
