Well I guess I'll add to it too. phone updated yesterday (Galaxy s10+ on Verizon) and now the app will not open. Tried to reinstall and now fails downloading at 17 of 709.
I have been playing every day for like 6 years, and EA got a ton of my money. Now that my multipliers are so high, they know longer get any money from me. Coincidence? I wonder. Do I go and buy a new non-Samsung tablet to keep playing, or wait this out?
Some people did get a new update for Android that fixed the issue, but not everyone got it and it didn't work for everyone.
I'd like to make some points:
1. We don't know that they aren't working on it. We just know it isn't fixed yet. These problems can be complicated and take a while to sort. Ask the Kindle Fire sufferers or the ROLLBACK GLITCH sufferers. I personally think they waited TOO long to give up on the GLITCH fix and should have offered the rollback earlier.
2. Have you all been complaining to EA or just talking about it on the forum and Reddit? My suggestion is to contact them as many times a week that you have time for and pester the heck out of them. My phone isn't a Samsung Galaxy S10, but a Galaxy J3 Achieve, and I just got this glitch on my phone. My phone forced the update on me, and upon finishing; I tried to open the app. It just keeps crashing on me before login.
I did download TSTO onto my tablet, and it worked fine. But, I'm going to blow off some steam for a few days. This wasn't how I wanted to start my weekend.

and the good news - whatever EA did on update fixed the 24.8 mb crash, at least on my German J7.
which makes it even more apparent that the whole clusterfluffle should have been solved by EA as soon as the first Android 9 issues cropped up.
Exactly... EA was too busy chirping, "It's not our fault, it's not our fault!!" and yet it was fixed by them. Makes you wonder...
