I rarely get paid apps, and those that I do have I pay a one-time fee. Four bucks, boom, I have an ad-free experience and premium functionality for as long as that is on my phone. Rarely.
Of course not, not to offend anyone and not pointed to the OP
Never give them this type of ideas, I am willing to pay for content I want and it does not make sense if they are not updating this monthly to make it interesting for me. I’m sure they will make more off me if the content is good and they are charging at a reasonable price.
It’s the worst time in history to ask such a question. The game abandoned us. A lot of people discovered they were fine without it. What’s to say it won’t happen again? You don’t charge after years of free play. This would show me the door I’m afraid. I also won’t buy eight track tapes or New Coke. Please slap yourself for this idea.
I don’t think the idea is inherently bad if they had an option for those who are willing to opt in. With that said, I don’t imagine people would want to spend more than a few bucks a month if that were a thing.
It would also create an issue between players who pay for donuts with those who pay for a subscription. How would the differentiate the two? People who buy donuts occasionally may actually spend more money than those who only have a subscription and making subscription exclusive items would cause paying costumers to quit. Sure, some might switch to a subscription, but the ones they would lose would 100% be paying costumers, not just players who play for free. It would be a risky business choice for a small payout.
The other option would be if they offered a few free premium tokens a month with discounts on other premium items. But that would mean they’d have to release enough premiums per month to make it worthwhile and it would most likely only entice new players since older premium players have a lot premium items.
With that said, it still wouldn't work, given they just added the yearbook which would negate any real advantage of the subscription system.
I'm retired, on a fixed income, my bills are twice what I pull in each month, and I barely can play the game now. Been kicked out 7 times already in the last few hours. In other words, NO.
NO, it's not my iPad anyway and I would have to pay them. NO, I cannot afford it and would quit. NO, what with all the Bart screen, drag, crashing. If there were my iPad and something that I really wanted and a limited amount of time then I would buy it with extra donuts.
I WOULD NEVER PAY FOR ANY GAMING APP and sit on my phone or tablet all day hunched over small screen.
Monthly fee, it's a loss maker.
I wanted to do it yesterday but I will invariably do it tomorrow (ish).
