Donuts Disappeared

I just logged into my game a few minutes ago and my donuts showed only three total. I started the day with over 90 and had increased it to over 120 the last time I checked about five hours ago. I have not bought anything today. Has anyone ever experienced this and did EA return your missing donuts? I plan on contacting them but would appreciate any advice you might have. Thanks everyone!

  • Have you looked in the couch cushions? Sometimes things get lost in there.
Whoa, whoa, whoa – I only accept cash, bitcoin, or GameStop stock.
  • First place I looked. No luck.

Assuming you have synced... Friends and back.. And they are still gone... contact support. Be polite but firm. If at first you don't succeed try again until you do.

Contacted them shortly after asking my question here. Spoke to an EA rep and told them that I didn’t know what happened, they just disappeared from my game. Gave every detail I could, like when I noticed what my donut total was before, when I noticed they were depleted, etc. Put me on hold for at least 20 minutes, felt longer, had someone check something in my game, account, or their server, not entirely sure what they looked at. Came back saying while he believed me, they could find nothing that supported my claim and would not be returning my donuts.

So, disappointing, but there’s nothing I can do about it. I probably would have raised a fuss if I had lost donuts that I had purchased, but I’ll be able to get them back fairly quickly thanks to my multiplier. Still, I have no idea what happened. Been playing since the beginning and this was a first for me.
  • There is no number of lost farmed donuts that'd have me bothered enough to contact EA. 20 minutes on hold? Forget that.

Yes. A string of curse words under the breath and going through the tedium of re-earning them is far more productive.
  • Get your bonus high enough and you can make 100+ donuts in about 5 mins by Rat Trap Truck farming. Less time and hassle than calling EA. Honestly, you probably rushed something by accident and it was your fault. It's easy to do without noticing when you're tapping away in a hurry.

5 minutes of donut farming vs. 20+ minutes on hold to a company famous for their terrible customer service = no brainer.

Trust me, if I had known I’d be on hold that long, I wouldn’t of called in the first place. But I already started soooo...🤷🏻‍♂️

And actually, the rep I spoke to was pretty good. Polite, seemed to care about my problem. I can’t complain about them. At least this time.

The reps are generally pretty good. It's the company line they have to toe that's almost always the source of the terrible customer service. The rep's probably sitting there wishing they could just restore your donuts.
