@lucienleon519 You’ve never had a look through the list of tasks for animating buildings thread? :o

I'd normally check on a building's animated task, but somehow I managed to not bother with this one. With that big screen it could hardly have been more obvious that it'd be animated too.
  • I'm not really a fan of any of the building animations to be honest. I don't find any of them that interesting.

I am a big fan of the Play Dough Factory animation...maybe it's the twelve year old in me, but I get a giggle out of the extrusion

I reckon scrolling around the town is so much more fun when the building have a bit of action going on.

I'll have to add Otto's school bus to my list. I love having him hang out on its roof.

I prefer the character animations. It's a lot of fun to give every one of your characters a visual task.

What about the building animations that are also character animations? Apart from the ones I've mentioned already:

    Nikki McKenna and the half-pipe
    Bart and Shelbyville Bluffs
    Homer and Springfield Gorge
    Howard Duff and Duff Float
Jimbo Jones and the Springfield Bowl

Most of these are decorations, not buildings.

  • Aw... oh well. Fire Department it is then.
  • I got the Bad Dream House not very long ago and have to agree. That is just cool!

I love the new Jittery Joe's. I've had Wise Guy in there non-stop for his 24 job since I finished the event.

I also recently got Sequel Stop out of the Yearbook. I now keep Weird Al in there for his 12 hour job (it just doesn't look right without the animation).

    I also enjoy The Slaughterhouse.

After all this time I never knew about the Sequel Shop’s animation. You’re right, I don’t know if I could ever go back to having it untasked 🙂

    I know, right?
Can't remember her name right now, but the she-vampire can do her 24 hour job there, too. 😎
  • The green casino, lit by the good doctor.
    Original lard lads.
    Aztec.
Pyramid casino dimly lit by the stripper.
Future buildings, lit by future bart & lisa, the guy who sells jeans for 16 hours, the real estate lady (who also animates evil lair), and cyberdine guy (tied to chair guy?)
The Mall. Center section (of 3) lights up blue real good and solid. Like the Mall has secret wisdom in there, waiting to change shoppers forever. It's a **** to get the random building animating characters to wander in there, though. You have to move the mall and the movie theater next to each other, store the theater and bring it back, grab the guy fast before we gets close to an unwanted building to animate, and task him and hope for the best, then move the lit up Mall back to where it belongs. So much fun!

I like a lot of the animations, but two of my faves are the "SheSheLounge" and The "League of Extra Horny Gentlemen".
  • My current favorite is watching Alice Glick feed the kid to the Original Brown House.
