The Sideshow Bob you see in a friends town is your Sideshow Bob. So as long as you don't catch him in a friends town, he won't go anywhere.

I've had him in my town for about two weeks now and haven't noticed any difference.

When you initially get the message that he's been spotted it lowers it by 5 points. But you only get 1 point for catching him. You can make the points up faster by cleaning up graffiti.

So there's really no point in catching him other than the small cash/XP bonus.

Solid 5 stars, if it dropped briefly never noticed it. Run Bob, Run! He's one of my top 5 favorite characters now. Loves to run in my house farm, so got to be careful not to tap him.

Thanks for the idea Punky, from now on I won't catch him either. You guys are right; it's more fun to see him around.

Oh my gosh, thank you for saying that. I spent 30 minutes earlier tracking him down. It drives me insane how I click on him and my game is like oh no you click on the building 50 feet that way. :x Now I'll just ignore him.
