I posted this in another thread, so hope you don't mind me reusing it....

I let my dog into the back yard today and then peeked out the window to check on him and noticed him pawing at something in an unusual way. So I threw on my shoes and rushed out to see what was going on, and this is what I found:




such a tiny, cute little guy!


There is a huge pond 5 blocks from here. I plan on taking him over later to release him there.

maybe that's a good idea. you seem to have taken the turtle out of it's habitat, which seemed to scare it as it's all crunched up in it's shell looking at your phone with angry eyes. And then you plan to take it to a pond so it will be lost from it's family as it drowns in the water.

Do you really believe that?
Or is that your form of humor?

And spiders are good. They eat bugs. Bugs are bad....except for the cute ones like butterflies.

P003 (whoever you are)- that's just mean. Turtles don't have families. Turtles can swim. Would you rather the dog accidently hurt it by playing with it? You can relocate animals.

I bet jenniferbusc would love to take care of that turtle. By the way, I have a doctorate in turtle facial expressions. This little one was saying "thanks for saving me from your dog. I hope some fool on the forum doesn't say anything stupid about saving me!"
