Glass Onion - A Knives Out Mystery (2022)

A very entertaining film and I actually laughed out over a couple of scenes. Plot was not too difficult to understand. A good watch.

I was pleasantly surprised to see this sculpture in the film. Because I just saw it in Nov 2022 in Singapore itself by chance. I made a recording of it.

Jack Ryan Season 3 (2022) 8 Episodes. I like this season better than the last one. I think the pacing is better. Plot wise at times I didnt understand but overall I roughly got it. A good watch

I liked it too. Thought it was a very fun watch.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (2022).

I almost forgot I watched this. It was a good one too @Rhinomix76 especially for Xmas. I wished it was longer.

Yesss!!! Black Phone was awesome 👏
If there’s some horror fanatics on here you should check out Summer of 84! It’s not a high budget box office hit but it is a hidden gem. Reading The description it sounds like the movie Disturbia but let me tell you it’s so much better.

Pearl - An Xtraordinary Origin Story (2022). This is the prequel to the slasher film X. A big bulk of it were actually drama but it was very engrossing. The performance of the lead actress was also disturbingly good. I think she could be nominated for an acting award. Overall it was a good watch.

Nanny (2022). Good production and acting. The film was about sending social messages and was not very scary. In fact I fell asleep watching it. It is targeted at sophisticated audience. An Art film I would say. It was an average watch for me

    Top Gun Maverick

This is too fast @Rhinomix76. As I rewatched this, I am feeling better as I try to dissipate the negative experience I have when I watched in the cinema and had to get a couple to keep quiet.

Terrifier (2016) This film did not have much of a plot and almost zero character development. However it has very graphic killing scenes with good practical effects. I would say a fan of slasher films should love it.

On the Line (2022). The acting of Mel Gibson is the main draw of this thriller film. The film itself was a mixed feeling for me with a pretty interesting ending.

The Black Phone (2021). This film has a unique storyline, almost like an extended version of the kind of dramas like Tales from Dark Side. A good watch and I think it was actually quite family friendly. Agree with you @Rhinomix76

An oldie but a goodie. I had never seen this horror comedy about a group of clueless college kids battling a couple of clueless rednecks. Very fun, funny, and gory. A good watch

Jurrassic World Dominion (2022). Watching this film reminded me of the feelings of watching Independence Day Resurgence. But it was slightly better. The film was quite human centric with many characters. One action sequence was nice but overall, it was pretty boring for me. This film was an average watch for me.

In fact, it is my worst Jurassic film of all the films

I had most of the same reactions Sean. This was simply an okay film. There was one action scene that I really liked but the rest was kinda meh. Also, it was WAY too long. Popcorn action movies shouldn't be two and a half hours long lol.

The Menu (2022). Gripping thriller horror tale, a good watch but the plot could make you go - this is unbelievable !

The Pale Blue Eye (2022). A period crime investigation drama set in the 1800s. More than two hours long and I watched it over four sittings as I fell asleep each time. Even though it was slow, it still managed to be a bit convoluted for me. Nice for its period costume and set. The reveal was interesting too. Overall an average experience for me.
