I'm sort of expecting to see a tweet appear from Matt Selman or anyone working on The Simpsons saying something like "Tapped Out is not tapped out (again), a new update is dropping on ...!". The last 2 mini events started later than the usual time (10am et, 3pm bst etc.) so maybe the Halloween update is really late.

EA does monitor their Forums, although they (almost) never reply directly. You *may* have better luck receiving a response if you post on their FaceBook and/or Twitter pages. @majorpaws414
I just realized that maybe we are all overreacting.. the 2019 treehouse episode is slated to air on the 20th of October so I think the update will come after that. I mean if they want to include elements of the episode in to the update that they cant release it before the actual episode, right??
EA still can't get it through their thick heads that the excitement of a holiday is in the build up, not for weeks after. We're more than halfway through October and no leaves or blowing wind, murky water, etc. I've not put out my Halloween decos in town, and frankly, at this point they can take any potential Halloween event and shove it up their keisters.

Really not expecting great things if it's that late. Past events which were well thought through and involved took weeks to finish. I doubt most people will still want to be playing a weeks long event in the lead up to Bonfire Night or American Thanksgiving or whatever the next holiday is in their country. If we get some lame two-week mini for Halloween I can only conclude that TSTO is being faded out.
This lack of communication on EAs part is exactly why I stopped buying their products. I was seriously thinking of getting the new Star Wars game but I don’t want to support a company that doesn’t have the decency to inform those on the forum who would like to know if Halloween is even happening.

Anytime TSTO released items from a current episode, it was BEFORE said episode airs, that way when you complete the quests a message would show plugging the upcoming episode. Sorry but that's how they always done it.

Obviously not this time. They are obviously not releasing anything this week.
idk.....maybe this entire time they've been rebuilding the entire UI of the game again? Maybe editing the storage etc? Adding new elements.....maybe thats why its taking a lifetime to get it out?

Maybe they are trying to fix the server problems many people experience. They might be low on staff and focusing all their time in fixing the problem. Could have at least give us an update though..
