THIS is why I created this thread with the details in the title so everybody can jump on it and grab as many wailing walls as possible before EA puts a stop to it. No beating around the bush, no need to talk in code, just a race between you and EA to exploit their incompetence until they put a stop to it. If only EA can put as much urgency to fixing the disconnection issues that trigger the Bart screen as they did to stop people from buying wailing walls with in game cash.......
Serious question: why bother with upping your multiplier that much? Once you are over 1000, it’s all just coasting anyway. Plus, I would gather with a way bigger multiplier, it would take a lot more time to clear your town. And possible game kick outs? My only reasoning for doing this I think would be for bragging rights. I did up my 1400% to 1500% with the walls today, but I can’t think of any reason to raise it up.
For me a higher multiplier also helps to cut down the need to buy and sell multiple rat trucks. I generally use only about 3 to 5 trucks if I need to do harvesting.
And practically there is no need to do income harvesting anymore for a long time as very soon the income will hit the ceiling. I hadn't done income harvesting in last two years. I did it once in the blue moon to check the state of the game play.
Also generally, there is practically nothing else to do in the game if there are no further designing work to be done. The challenge to raise the multiplier and yet keeping a town looking still fairly decent adds another dimension of play. The accumulation of donuts reserve is also another way of playing the game.
Today's wailing walls I raised my percentage only about 200 plus percent
and this is why people should shut up here about this stuff cause ea reads and patches them
Do you have any proof or evidence that EA found out about the wailing wall programming mistake from this thread or this forum? People have been complaining about getting the Bart disconnection screens for 2 months, but somehow, EA didn't see those messages? 🤔

Seriously? This hurts them financially. Of course they're probably on the look out for these. The bart screen does not.

I’m at max currency and 10,000 donuts. Most of this accumulation happened after reaching 1000% bonus multiplier. I haven’t built rat trap trucks in quite a while. Which is why I can’t see any reason others would need a higher multiplier. “Just something to do” or “try to design around them fun” are reasons that seem like unnecessary work. But if it makes Tappers happy, then why not I guess. 🙂
I’m sorry you missed it. I honestly thought EA did this on purpose to make up for all the lack of events for this past year! Boy was I naive. 😝 I’ve noticed glitches can occur early in the release of a new event. So it is a good idea to try log in early in an event.

Yes! It would've been nice. I collected some a few years back when they were craftable. But I would've liked a few more. Oh well, maybe for the next glitch

And how much money is an unplayable game costing them in potential revenue? Would you buy donuts with real world cash for the current gameplay experience you are getting?

This is a game not a work. Some like the challenges to see how high they can go. You like to play your way, others like to play their way. Showing your relaxed attitude of playing and not concerned with the numbers is also a bragging, isn't it

Exactly. Well I was going to tug more of my bushes so I could get more wailing walls but EA did the update. Luckily I had some time to get some earlier and scored myself 450ish walls. That’s 20k donuts right there lol. That and the tennis courts are the biggest hits.
Went from 2700 to 3850 % conformity isn’t too bad lol
May replace the bushes with the spooky walls but that’s really small.

Between the dearth of content and the dozens of donuts I collect each day via normal rounds, I haven't had to farm for donuts in a long time.
I bought hundreds of walls today because... why not? No, I don't NEED the %age boost, but 4000% is still better than 2800%, so I might as well have the higher %age!
Started the day with over 8100 donuts and $200m. Went from 1460% to 5022% after buying 1500+ Wailing walls. I was going to replace all my tennis courts with wailing walls but they patched the error by the time I went back in.

But i still can't donut farm. Just trying to collect on 3 bloodmobiles crashes my game.
I only have 300 donuts, and it's going to take a while to get 477 more. But i have to buy God! Can't have a town without Him, right?
It's gonna be hard. Guess I'll get started...
THANK YOU @BlackFloppyDisk FOR MAKING THIS THREAD SO I COULD GET AS MANY AS I DID. I appreciate it.
Arg!
I just searched for the IGC walls. Shoulda read this first.

Chicks dig a man with a huge multiplier!
