?Hallow-Lame?

These prizes & stuff seem pretty low end. The new Stranger things Treehouse of horrors would have been awesome to do. Or even just use any other source material or even just make up something would have been better. If they are gonna go out on this halloween event being the last I gotta say as a long time TSTO player I feel pretty betrayed at their lack of commitment. lets hope the Christmas event will be better. maybe next year they can use the new tree house of horrors thing. or maybe they didn't want to spend the money those cheap skates. Maybe we don't even matter to EA.

Well i can tell u this post will get taken out closed or bad reviews but i'm just responding how someone like bart Simpson would if he could comment on what a lame event this is. as a loyal fan of the game and have bought tons of great stuff i feel like this was a Tap in the face.

I don't disagree with you on most of your points and you're welcome to your opinion. I too wish it had tied into the stranger things episode (which I forgot to watch, thanks for the reminder) but I imagine gathering the rights to the material may have been tricky for the game to acquire. Who knows. I'm still trying to figure out how God plays such a big role in a Halloween to Thanksgiving event. The Pagan Winter event which many felt was more of a Halloween event at least paid homage to the beginnings of what is now Christmas. I like your pun "tap in the face" :D That said I have total respect for Electronic Arts. The game is going on what 8 years old? There's only so much you can do with it at this point. I'm just happy to keep tapping.

Bingo. Yet another event in a long line of uninspired 4 hour events. Same exact formula as the previous 30 events. Can we get a little diversity here? And for the love of god give me the opportunity to buy Golden Goose Realty. I have stopped building entirely because I have huge chunks of unbuyable land. Oops didn't want to bring up the dreaded land token system. They release strips of token land and offer 3 tokens as part of an event. If that. It might be the end for Tapped Out. It IS a huge tap in the face. /rant
  • I do agree. I have to come to terms that these holiday events have become a tradition for me, and that things change and they are no longer a part of my holiday traditions simply because they don't exist as they once did. The interaction with other players was the fun of it. That feeling of all of us participating at once. Nothing to tap, nothing to find that someone has left in your town.

I don't even have theme music in my town. Anyone else? I'm certain Christmas ( sorry The Winter event ) will be the same.

I have loved this game. I'll take whatever scraps they'll give me.
Make Nightmare Pile like Zombie Sandwich. All kids trick or treat at once.
  • Doesn't seem like a Halloween event at all. No music at all, and no actual Halloween themed prizes at all or at least not yet. Obviously we got to wait for act 2 or whatever they are calling it these days before we get the "buildings" Because so far there is none. I opened up an area and I haven't even placed anything there yet.......I didn't expect it to start so slow and boring. I'm on the last prize right now for the first act. What's her name, that girl I've never seen before that looks like Adult Maggie

Don't increase the Item Limit? Then I don't play. Period.

🙂 I'm also learning to be content with what I do have rather than longing for what I don't. @bluntcard

  • Them doing less friend interection stuff MAY actually be a sign of them developing a conscience. Part of the way freemium games prey upon us is forcing us to see how much more decked out our neighbors' towns are, which creates jealousy (invidious comparison)... (invideous?) (It's an academia word). So they may be choosing to not put so much psychological pressure on us, their prom dates. Or this has been totally wrong and I should give up profiling corporations and find another career.
  • Some rich Fan should Buy EA cause EA is ruining everything. Its like a mad dog. just wants to feast feast feast. Eating up all ur Tapped out hash n Tapped out roast beef.

I don’t have the theme music either and I’ve always loved it in past THOHs. This is the second Halloween event (last year it didn’t play in my games either) and before you might ask: yes, I do have the music turned on in settings.
  • While the prizes so far do seem lame unless you don't have Hugo or the Scary Dock + Blinky Monster, we still are in the first week of a four week event which is like the McGuffin act. The only items that have a connection with each other are Robot Homer, Monkey's Paw Salesman and his shop which appeared in the same episode. I hope that it does pick up more on Wednesday when act 2 starts.

The main good thing about this event is that the Bart screens seemed to happen less frequently and rarely. I also hope that the music appears with act 2 and possibly an item limit increase.

Christmas could be a better event or have something new since there have been times in the past where a Halloween event was disappointing then the Christmas event was so much better and vise versa, like in 2015 and 2017 with a disappointing Halloween and a great Christmas though others might disagree with this.
  • Could be wishful thinking, but maybe the recent apparent server upgrade is part of a larger overall improvement plan.

  • Halloween event isn't as good as the good old days sending characters trick or treating, visiting friends to get more of whatever you're collecting etc. But this Halloween has been brilliant for me as managed to get so many spooky walls it's changed my game play forever. I was at a point where I was not really logging in as much as I just wasn't making money quick enough to farm donuts, but now it's so much easier. Can finally buy all the stuff I could never get.
  • Hallow-lame is an understatement.

If it’s a parody, I don’t think they would’ve needed to acquire rights for it. I doubt the show needed to either.
