Christmas Decorations, Buildings, Jobs....

I’ve got the lights up and have started platting out my Christmas area. Homer and Cat Lady are flying their sleighs, the Rigellians are doing their Christmas things too.

Is there a master list of Christmas buildings, tasks, etc?

I'm gonna be a Grinch (Grumple?) and not do any decorating until I get snow.

That is more or less what we all do. That reminds me, got to get Grumple out of Storage.

All my decorations are out except snow and ice sculptures. They make no sense unless there is snow.

With the trees back to green, not even fall colors, i see no point in decorating yet. I feel like i remember it going from fall colors directly to snow in years passed.

when is it supposed to turn over to snow? I swear... winter is three months long, but in Springfield, it's like 3 weeks because it seems they're in a hurry to change things over to the next season.

I missed last years run up to the winter event so can't comment on that but in the years previous to that I'm fairly sure ( as you mentioned) that the autumn look of the trees lasted until the snow arrives and didn't grow leaves again between autumn and winter.

The ground here is a gastly white, my furnace is gulping down $$, so I'm happy to see green trees.

This works, but not in Southern Florida, or Central/South America.

My decos are all out. I’ve stared putting grass over pavement and dirt so it will be snowy (if the snow ever comes). That way once the event starts I can jump right into it. I always clear the same area of my town to collect new Christmas items. Anyone else?

The snow used to last six weeks but everyone could complained.
