Black Friday UK

Amazon has the apparent honour of being the first to introduce Black Friday to the UK... previously Black Friday was a reference to the suffragettes who marched on London in 1910.. a century later its meaning took on a different slant..

In 2013 Walmart, who had recently become owners of one of the UK's biggest supermarkets, Asda, decided to bring it onto the streets big style...

A couple of years later on and Walmart/Asda got sick of this but by then every other company was on the band wagon.... now we have a random Friday in November for pre-Christmas bargains that not many people actually like...

    Haven't bothered looking since.
I wanted to do it yesterday but I will invariably do it tomorrow (ish).
