Unable to Add Friends

Tried sending some friends requests but it keeps failing. I have plenty of spaces as I cleared out a lot of inactive friends recently. Anyone else having this problem.

There's been a glitch with the friends part of the game for awhile. I would recommend keep trying as it connects then disconnects.
