The person formally known as JoshSherer...

Some of you know him as TSTO's most controversial member. It doesn't matter if you want to hug him or hit him, he's our very own home grown celebrity. Yes, it's the person formally known as JoshSherer. El Diablo himself!

Nowadays, "JoSho" as he's now known, keeps himself very busy as a result of his rise to stardom on the highly influential TSTO General Discussion Forum. Insiders say JoSho did not choose his hip new title, although his PR agent admits, it's free publicity. He can barely keep up with the demand and high quality complaints his fans have come to expect. Yet somehow, he finds a way.

We tried to track down the elusive bad boy for a comment, but there was no answer at the mansion where he is currently squatting until the owners can legally evict him. Rumour has it that JoSho has been busy rehearsing in readiness for his, 2013, I Hate the World Tour. Merchandising products are in production at the moment and are expected to make a tidy sum. KERCHING! Items like the JoSho talking keyring will be sold. This unique devise, shaped like a tongue in a cheek says, "I HATE THAT" if you react to it. It's unique "temper sensitive" design reacts to how angry you are when JoSho speaks and adjusts the sardonic comments accordingly. At the low price of $99.99, they are expected to sell like donuts.

That was a lot of fun to write.

I want to state clearly that I neither like or hate Josh, I am indifferent to him. I first noticed him when he made a thread complaining that he got free fireworks after spending donuts for them already. Initially, I assumed he was a 12 year old and was briefly fooled by his impish tactics. After that, it didn't take a genius long to figure out what Josh was doing and why. Josh likes to play, it's that simple. As I generally sat on the sides observing this real life virtual drama play out, one image came to my mind. Bart and the electric cupcake. It summed it up perfectly as far as I was concerned. Let's face it, Josh wires up that cupcake and waits for Bart to show up. Sure enough, Barts by the dozen turn up to touch the cupcake. AGAIN & AGAIN. BUZZ! OUCH! BUZZ! OUCH! They are so transfixed on the damn cupcake and never seem to learn it's all folly. So, here we are, weeks later and that cupcake keeps shocking people. The way I see it, I can excuse a noob for touching the cupcake out of ignorance. But for those who continue to touch the cupcake should realise that Josh is not their worst enemy. They are their own worst enemy if they allow themselves to played by a complete stranger simply by reading his words. They are ruled by their emotions unfortunately and until they either mature or learn, they will always be in conflict with their ego. By the way, maturing and learning isn't consigned to the young. That is directed to any adults who have allowed selfish feelings to blind their rational self. Harsh words, I'm sorry to say, but very, very true. This is the real world people, wake up to reality. What's more, this is the internet, where reality is an illusion.

On a lighter note, all is not lost. This is not the harshest forum I have visited, far from it. Some forums are so hardcore, the words are like acid that burn your retina as you read them. Whereas the flaming here is more like kids throwing crayons at each other, trying not to colour over the line.

Finally, for those who hate me for some bizarre reason after reading this and feel insulted, please be aware that your flames will burn cold here. Unlike Josh, I have not posted in order for you to touch the cupcake. In fact, I have no cupcake. If you get shocked by one, then you put it there and wired it up yourself. Ultimately, my intention was to share my insight. Admittedly, my approach was quirky, just take from it what you will.

Peace.

That was a lot of fun to read :D

I have no problems with josh. He's never been nasty to me. I've learned to pick and choose which threads I read here in this forum. Sometimes I read his threads, sometimes I don't.

Your write up was darn funny! I love the "I hate the world" tour and the the keychain idea. Had a lot of fun reading it :D

this is insulting towards a poster on this forum, i think a mod should delete this thread and possibly ban the attacker.

Perhaps you should let Josh decide if he thinks this is insulting. Josh knows me through my posts, I reckon he will find it funny.

    Peace.

This post further confirms three things...

    1. Even intelligent, well-spoken people at times just don't grasp true satire.

    2. This is the single longest "don't feed the troll" feeding of the troll I think I've ever read, a truly touching tribute that I enjoyed reading every word of.

    3. JoshSherer is really, really good at what he does. :)

Kick back and enjoy watching a high quality troll who manages to both aggravate people AND contribute to the forum (albeit via sheer sarcasm) all in one post. Its a truly rare sight in this day and age, a troll who can feed himself even when he's not online. No one ever appreciates a truly good troll til they're gone. But I do JoSho... I do.

Thank you, and everyone else who took the time to read my playful rant. I realise all too well that I overstated myself. It was intentional. This thread is not anti or pro Josh. It's only my perspective, expressed in part as a parody.

I'm pleased a few enjoyed reading it. It was meant to be enjoyed, so mission accomplished. I hope Josh laughs the most after reading this. Judging by what I see, he appears to know how to laugh at himself. I may be generally indifferent to Josh, however, I can't help but appreciate his impact and how he has achieved it. He certainly stands out as one of the best trolls I have seen. Love how you point out he's a troll who feeds himself. Even more, he makes no secret concerning his intentions. Yet, no matter what he says, some people read only his words without going in between the lines.

    Peace.
