Missing friends

I had 30 'friends' until I Iogged on today, and found they'd all disappeared. I can't believe all 30 suddenly decided to 'unfriend' me at the same time, however annoying I might be. So it must be a glitch. Has anyone else had this problem?

It's been reported on and off for months. They disappear, sometimes come back the next time you try, sometimes not till an event ends. Many people also report there is nothing to tap in any friends towns.
I have experienced both situations in all 4 towns frequently. Perhaps some towns are socially distancing.

All 30-40 friend towns gone, and because of a glitch in the new wrestling event, I had to uninstall and reinstall, and friend towns all still gone. Social distancing is going overboard if they all had to move away!! Lol
