Krustyland Decoration Value

It can be done with an Android device and a computer, you don't need an idevice to check the files.

I'd check it for you now but I just got home and you know

Oh wow I didn't think it was going to be this easy. Here I wasted a whole bunch of time unpacking and exploring the apk file on my pc, but the dlc content is buried or compressed somehow. Looked on my phone, and voila, there it is under: SD Card:\\Android\data\com.ea.game.simpsons4_na\files\dlc

I'll search through it and see if I can find the decoration values, and post back here later.

Ok, finally, here's the values! There doesn't seem to be any good way to display a table here, so I'm going to paste it in csv format and you can copy it into Excel if you want to make it look nicer or sort it.

In other words, It's goes: name of item, Ticket cost, required level for purchase, classification of rating (etc grub, merch), rating boost, rating boost in ratio to ticket cost, length, width, total amount of space in squares, and rating boost in ratio to space in squares.

Incidentally I brought my kitch rating up to one so far by buying 1 pavillion and 2 trees. That's when I finally got some park visitors.

Sorry for the confusion. I suppose not everyone would know how to view the comma-separated-value data properly in Excel. And I should have realized that many people browse here with their phones and wouldn't have access to Excel. So, I've dumped it into a Google Spreadsheet, and added some colors to highlight the good and bad values.

Here's the link to the spreadsheet, which should be viewable on all devices:
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgDxMQ-uhinXdDduX0dnNFFLVV9ZWS1JOVhUUXRvS0E&usp=sharing

I might not be allowed to use BB code in my posts yet, so if clicking the above link doesn't work, you may have to copy-paste the address into your browser. Perhaps someone can re-post as a proper link if necessary.

Is there any information about the total number of points needed for 5 stars?

Also, I'd like to point out a few things that can be concluded from this data:
[li]All four "Grub" decorations cost the same, give the same amount of rating, and have the same size. Therefore it doesn't matter which one you pick - just go with whatever looks best to you![/li] [li]To increase Kitsch, trees are the most cost-effective. All types of trees have the same cost (100TK), rating (25), and size (2x2).[/li] [li]Garbage cans and the 1x1 flowers have only half the rating/ticket as the trees, but you can fit 4 of them in the space of 1 tree, making them good for their size - if size was more important than cost (early on, saving tickets is probably more important). [/li] [li]Pavilion tents are almost as good value as trees, but take up more space (5x5).[/li] [li]Due to the low cost of the Ring Toss, it is a far cheaper way to boost Merch than any other decoration. Nearly 15 times better in fact. Of course, I'm not suggesting you build a Ring Toss farm in one corner, but perhaps spread a few around, and hide them behind other buildings.[/li]

I don't know if there is. I've been trying to figure it out according to the list that Bjserink gives in his link:
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgDxM...V9ZWS1JOVhUUXRvS0E&usp=sharing

It's not so easy to do because I don't know if the number is constant for every category. I took into account the stars I have so far:
    Nausea 2
    Grub 2
    Kitsch 3
    Merch 2

and the stands and rides I have and what I will need for the 5. It gets too complicated to explain here. If I come out with a total number for each I will let you know.

Yep, took me a while, but I found it in settings.xml. Unlike the conform-o-meter, it seems the krust-o-meter star levels are not dependent on your game level. In other words, they are the same for everyone regardless what level you are at.

The rating points needed for 1/2/3/4/5 stars is as follows:
    Nausea: 10/20/40/60/70
    Kitsch: 100/300/700/1200/1800
    Grub: 10/30/70/120/180
    Merch: 10/30/70/120/180

Awesome! Will add that to the guide during my next set of updates :D.
