You'll have it when you wake up. It's timezone dependent and wants to wait until midnight in your part of the world.

1am in Arizona and I have both updates but the * is saying that it cannot connect to the server, my internet is working great right now...so what the *?

After the update, I just went into 'decorations' and bought a balloon.

Then one of the characters (Homer, I think) said something like '1 balloon isn't enough for a parade' and set me a task to buy more, so I bought 2 more. Now have had a task set by Lisa; 'Just one more balloon will do' so now saving up enough cash to buy Santa's Little Helper (£30,000!)
