A Complaint
Dear EA (for it is thEAm),
For the first time in many, many months, my game is stable. For the last ten days, it hasn’t Barted me even once.
I’ve thrown everything at it I could. I’ve collected everything with Sky Finger and all the character jobs at the same time as fast as I could. I’ve bounced mid-collection to visit Friends and come back without donut loss. Despite my best efforts, the game is playing correctly and smoothly like it did back in the very early days.
I have no idea what’s wrong. I suspect there’s been layoffs in the EA Department responsible for Deliberately Screwing Things Up, or the one where Complaints Are Received But Totally Ignored.
I am deeply disappointed that someone in EA, who I suspect was trained incorrectly, has taken it upon themselves to fix the game. We are used to the game crashing and falling over time and time again, not game stability. Clearly this misguided individual must be tracked down and retrained to stop fixing things. I was sure EA monitored things internally to ensure competence and customer satisfaction were not maintained.
I know you will take this grave matter as seriously as I do, and you will investigate it with urgency so that normal unstable and frustrating service is resumed as soon as possible, as we have all grown to expect but stupidly carry on anyway.
Yours,
Ivor Biggun

Probably start crashing again soon now I've said something.
Unfortunately your local internet is a large factor in having a stable connection to the servers, and ours is... Less than perfect. It's better than satellite. WAY better than satellite. But still.
Too late now
Yup, just crashed collecting donuts.
Just the other day I was able to place more than 5 Rat Trap Trucks without a crash.
I managed over 200 without a single crash which is amazing.
This. Whatever they did, it's a godsend. I was ready to throw the game in the trash, since it stopped me from doing pretty much the only things left to do in the game once in-game cash max is reached - donut farming and visiting friends.
The town is about 10 months old now, level 939 and 530% bonus and apart from the friends towns saying I have no neighbours almost all of the time it runs quite well usually.
Yes it is a little slow to load and on rare occasions it will crash but it's usually lag and problem free.
I will add that it is all I use the Kindle for, and it won't cope with my huge main town, but so far so good . . .
One suggestion, see what else is running.
Have a look at recent apps ( the square at the bottom of the screen ) and see if it's busy with other things you could close while you play.
Another place to check is in settings. Go to Manage Apps and swipe over to see what is running and if you can force-stop some of them to give more resources to running the game while you play - it does need quite a bit of memory and processor power as well as lots of storage for the game data.
Edit - If you get friends towns that are huge and your device was struggling anyway it will be no end of trouble trying to visit them.
My Kindle can't cope with my A town - 1-Graham-S - even as a neighbour !!
