Game keeps crashing. Any help?

This has happened to me a few times recently also, and I don't have anywhere near that many items. I just kept forcing the game closed and trying again. Cursing at my phone also helped.

Lol I've cursed many times. I cleared the cache, and I restarted my phone. So far, cursing is the only thing that has helped

The game knew you were going to send me a friend request. It couldn't handle all the awesome of us teaming up.

deleted. reinstalled. waited for 97 updates to download. YAY it worked! sent your friend request. coming back to my springfield. CRASH. ugh

Although crashing still, least you got in

Have you had a look on origin download website to see if you have loads of requests outstanding? "Sometimes" this can cause you problems, im suggesting this being you have done the other main points

Scaling back the decorations might help, removing fences behind buildings, etc

Ah sorry to hear that Lucii.

Dalton's right though. If you can get in to your game try to store some decorations, starting with those that are obscured by buildings. Next, try to free up some space on your device by deleting photos, apps, etc. It sounds like your device and your decor count is the problem, so I think that would fix it. ChrisP can back me up.

I would say it the decoration factor, my iPad & iPhone is rammed with apps & films extra and i have no problem logging in, I know my town is decorated but no where near the level yours is at 6000+ :shock: The last time i had a warning was back at WD for 4,500 items havent had that since tho

Thanks for all the suggestions! I have deleted a fair few items, I think I might have to thin out my Forest a bit, it's pretty crammed. But I can finally get into my game, thank god. I was gettin pretty frustrated lol went to throw my phone, but just lightly tossed it on my bed instead, like a boss lol

Lol pretty much exactly like that, but chickened out. iPhones are expensive!

Yeah you dont wanna be throwing an iPhone on the Ground really

Is it your game or is a server issue? Maybe leaving it till tomorrow might actually help

It seems like a game issue, cause the server is fine, it logs me in then loads and goes to the black screen like my town is about to appear, then BAM I'm back on my home screen. If it's not working tomorrow I'll download blue stacks and delete some items

Dont buy the hype that this has anything to do with you or anything you can do to correct this. EA Screwed the pooch with the last KL Update and has caused certain people to just have game crashes all the time.

This is happening to me on my Android phone but not on my IPAD. Mind you I was having this issue with my previous Android a week ago and got a new Android refurbished phone and the same thing continues to happen.
This phone literally has 3 apps only.

My springfield is not full by an means since I just hit max level about 3-4 weeks ago.

This is an EA technical issue that they need to correct. Would be nice if they actually acknowledged their is an issue though.

Me persnally i will not spend 1 real $$ until they step up the plate and correct this, i suggest you do the same.

What device/s do yo use?
How much free space do you have on your device/s?

Tips: Remove unwanted apps.
Delete unwanted photos.
Check your dates, if your date is set back, it makes the game crash a lot.

I use iPhone5, and last time I had my phone hooked up to my iTunes it said I still had 3/4 space free. I deleted all apps that I don't use (I only have 7 left) and I've only got 16 pics in the camera roll

If this issue continues tomorrow it might be worth opening a ticket with EA just in case it is a fault with the game itself, being you have tried many things to resolve the issue
